Information Technology Accessibility Standards Clause Samples

The Information Technology Accessibility Standards clause establishes requirements to ensure that all information technology products and services provided under the agreement are accessible to individuals with disabilities. This typically involves mandating compliance with recognized accessibility guidelines, such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) or Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and may require vendors to provide documentation or testing results demonstrating such compliance. The core function of this clause is to promote inclusivity and prevent discrimination by ensuring that technology solutions are usable by all individuals, regardless of ability.
