Accumulated Unused Sick Days. At the time of retirement, the school corporation shall contribute to a teacher’s individual Post Retirement VEBA (Voluntary Employees Beneficiary Association) account as described in section 501(c)(9) of the Code, or pay directly that amount equal to forty-five ($45.00) dollars per day for each day of unused accumulated sick leave.
Accumulated Unused Sick Days. Upon the Business Administrator/Board Secretary’s retirement from employment with the District, the Board will pay all unused, accumulated sick days earned while an employee of the Board, in accordance with law. Payments shall be calculated at the rate of 1/260th of the Business Administrator/Board Secretary’s annual salary at the time of retirement. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:30-3.5, payment shall not exceed a total amount of Fifteen Thousand ($15,000) Dollars. This payment is not available for payment into an estate in the event of the death of the Business Administrator/Board Secretary.

Accumulated Unused Sick Days. Upon the Business Administrator’s retirement from employment with the District after at least ten (10) years of service, the Board will pay for one half of the Business Administrator’s accumulated sick days earned while the Business Administrator was an employee of the Board. Sick days shall be reimbursed at the final per diem rate which shall be calculated at 1/260 of the Business Administrator’s then annual salary, and reimbursement for accumulated unused sick days shall not exceed Fifteen Thousand ($15,000.00) Dollars. Payment by the Board to the Business Administrator for her unused sick days shall be made within thirty (30) days of her last day of employment.

  • Unused Sick Leave The accrual of unused sick leave hours is unlimited. The City and the Union commit to the evaluation and establishment of a mutually beneficial non-use of sick leave incentive and pay-out policy. Until such time that a policy is established, accumulated sick leave shall be compensated as follows: Upon retirement from the City service, an employee shall be paid sixty percent (60%) of his accumulated sick leave, with the rate of payment based upon his regular pay at the time he retires. Upon the death of an employee, his beneficiary shall be paid sixty percent (60%) of his accumulated unused sick leave, with the payment based upon his regular pay at the date of his death.

  • Accumulated Sick Leave ‌ The Employer shall inform all employees at least once each year of the number of sick days accumulated and shall make the information available to an employee on request.

  • Sick Leave Accumulation For twenty (20) or more hour employees, sick leave is earned and credited at the rate of one (1) day per calendar month of active employment. The day shall be credited upon the first day of the month. Ten (10) days per year for less than fifty-two (52) weeks and twelve (12) days per year for fifty-two week employees. No employee shall be allowed to use sick leave beyond the pro-rated days earned to date. The accumulated sick leave plus the new year's total shall be credited at the beginning of each school year after one full year of employment.
