Academic Status of Students. All students will remain enrolled as regular degree candidates at the home institution and will not be enrolled as candidates for degrees at the host institution. Credits toward the student’s degree shall be recognized by the home institution provided that the recognition is compatible with the institution´s examination regulations. Students are expected to maintain the equivalent of a full course load at the host institution. Students enrolled in the host institution will be subject to the same rules and regulations as local students.

Academic Status of Students. Students will remain registered at their home institutions for the duration of their exchange and will not be enrolled as candidates for degrees at the host institution. Students will be enrolled as full time students - twelve (12) credit hours per semester or equivalent for undergraduate students and nine (9) credit hours or equivalent for graduate students. Exchange students will have access to the same facilities at their host institution as have home students.

Exchange Coordinators For conditions of the linkage and terms of agreement not covered by this Student Exchange Agreement or for problems, which arise while the exchange agreement is in effect, both parties agree to refrain from unilateral action, to consult with each other and to negotiate mutually agreeable decisions. All specific projects to which this Agreement may lead shall be evaluated on a regular basis by the designated authorities of both institutions.   • Academic Program The Charter School shall operate the academic program in accordance with this Agreement, the Charter School’s Application, and applicable state and federal law, including providing at least the same equivalent time of instruction as other public schools and complying with assessment and accountability laws and rules (T.C.A. § 49-13-111). If the Charter School is performing below standards, the Authorizer may review the academic program. The Charter School will notify the Authorizer of any material changes to the academic program that are a change from the Charter School’s Application, and the Authorizer will evaluate to determine if they are material changes to this Agreement. Any changes to the school structure shall be considered material to this Agreement and shall not be permitted unless a formal amendment to this Agreement is secured in advance according to the provisions outlined in T.C.A. § 49-13-110(d), Commission Rule 1185-01-01-.04, and this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, school structure shall be defined as the academic focus or goals of the Charter School and grade levels served.

  • Supervision of Student Teachers Paragraph 1: Supervision of a student teacher shall be voluntary. Teachers shall normally be notified of a student teacher assigned at least two (2) weeks prior to the student teacher’s introduction to the classroom. The school system shall provide the cooperating teacher with whatever materials it deems appropriate. The cooperating teacher shall be responsible for being knowledgeable of the contents of any such materials provided.
