OTHER COURSES. Employees requested by the Fire Chief/ Deputy Fire Chief to attend a course outside the Region of Waterloo will have the following costs paid by the employer: (1) course fees; (2) provision of a vehicle or reimbursement for fuel used to attend the course; (3) parking fees; (4) meals not included with the said course as specified by the employer. Receipts are required. OTHER COURSES. BIOSC 0050 Foundation of Biology Lab 1 (1 credit) This is the first course in a two-course sequence on the study of organisms in the laboratory. We will work with techniques that are important in biology and apply these techniques to illustrate basic biological principles emphasizing cell biology. BIOSC 0050 runs concurrently with BIOSC 0150, the lecture complement in introductory biology.

OTHER COURSES. For courses to be taught by bargaining unit faculty for which no faculty member has Course Seniority or where a faculty member with Course Seniority declines the offer, the following shall apply: The University will inform the Union of the remainder of the courses to be offered to be taught by bargaining unit faculty and post electronically in a manner accessible to bargaining unit employees. Within 10 days thereafter, bargaining unit faculty members may express interest in teaching a course by contacting their Department Chair. The University will issue offer letters of appointment to bargaining unit faculty members selected to teach a course.
