Unexpired Employment Period definition

Unexpired Employment Period means the period commencing on the date of such termination and ending on the last day of the Employment Period.
Unexpired Employment Period as of any date shall mean the period beginning on such date and ending on the Anniversary Date on which the Employment Period (as extended pursuant to Section 2(a) of this Agreement) is then scheduled to expire.
Unexpired Employment Period means three years from the Change in Control Date (even if such three-year period extends beyond the Executive's 65th birthday). The benefits to be provided under, and the amounts payable pursuant to, this Section 5 shall be provided and be payable without regard to proof of damages and without regard to the Executive's efforts, if any, to mitigate damages. The Company and Executive hereby stipulate that the damages which may be incurred by Executive following any Change in Control are not capable of accurate measurement as of the date first above written and that such liquidated damages constitute reasonable damages under the circumstances.

  • The aforesaid amounts shall be payable in cash without discount for early payment, at the option of Executive, either in full immediately upon such termination or monthly over the Unexpired Employment Period (the "Payment Election").

  • Executive (and Executive's dependents) shall also receive continuation of health coverage through the end of the Unexpired Employment Period on the same basis as health coverage is provided by the Company for active employees and as may be amended from time to time ("Medical Continuation").

  • In addition, Executive's fringe benefits specified in Section 2 shall continue through the end of the Unexpired Employment Period; provided, however, that such benefits which may not continue pursuant to law, such as participation in a qualified pension plan, shall terminate on the date of termination and further provided, that Executive shall be entitled to COBRA continuation coverage and to continue the applicable life insurance policies thereafter, at his cost ("Fringe Benefit Continuation").

  • The aforesaid amount shall be payable in cash without discount for early payment, at the option of Executive, either in full immediately upon such termination or monthly over the Unexpired Employment Period.

  • Employee (and Employee’s dependents) shall also receive continuation of health coverage through the end of the Unexpired Employment Period on the same basis as health coverage is provided by the Company or MCRC for active employees and as may be amended from time to time (“Medical Continuation”), and any reimbursements under such plan will be made no later than the last day of the year after the year in which the expense was incurred.

  • In addition, the Executive shall be entitled to receive Vested Incentive Compensation, Vested Options exercisable pursuant to the Vested Option Exercise Election, Medical Continuation for the Unexpired Employment Period, and Expense Reimbursement.


More Definitions of Unexpired Employment Period

Unexpired Employment Period means the period commencing on the date of such termination and ending, (i) in the case of termination pursuant to a Six Month Notice of Non-Renewal given and made effective in accordance with subparagraph 2(a) hereof, on the effective date of termination set forth therein, or (ii) in all other circumstances of termination, the later of (A) the final day of the Initial Employment Term or (B) six (6) months after the giving of notice by the terminating party or the occurrence of such other event that automatically results in termination.

Related to Unexpired Employment Period

  • Post-Employment Period is defined in Section 8.2.

  • Employment Termination Date means, with respect to a Participant, the first day upon which the Participant no longer has an employment or service relationship with the Company or any Related Company.

  • Employment Period has the meaning set forth in Section 2.01.

  • Newly hired employee or “New Hire” means any employee, whether permanent, full-time, or part-time, hired by the Office and who is still employed as of the date of new employee orientation. It also includes all employees who are or have been previously employed by the Office and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA. For those latter employees, for purposes of this article only, the “date of hire” is the date upon which the employees’ employment status changed as such that the employee was placed in the CSEA unit.

  • Supported employment means the ongoing supports to participants who, because of their disabilities, need intensive ongoing support to obtain and maintain an individual job in competitive or customized employment, or self-employment, in an integrated work setting in the general workforce at or above the state’s minimum wage or at or above the customary wage and level of benefits paid by the employer for the same or similar work performed by individuals without disabilities. The outcome of this service is sustained paid employment at or above the minimum wage in an integrated setting in the general workforce in a job that meets personal and career goals. Supported employment services can be provided through many different service models.

  • Period of Employment shall include any extension thereof pursuant to the preceding sentence. Provision of notice that the Period of Employment shall not be extended or further extended, as the case may be, shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement and shall not constitute “Good Reason” for purposes of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Period of Employment is subject to earlier termination as provided below in this Agreement.

  • Employment Date means the first date as of which an Employee is credited with an Hour of Service, provided that, in the case of a Break in Service, the Employment Date shall be the first date thereafter as of which an Employee is credited with an Hour of Service.

  • Employment Year means each twelve-month period, or part thereof, during which Employee is employed hereunder, commencing on the Commencement Date and on the same day of the subsequent calendar year and each consecutive 12 month period thereafter.

  • Covered employment means employment in a covered position.

  • Severance Period means the period of time commencing on the date of the first occurrence of a Change in Control and continuing until the earlier of (i) the second anniversary of the occurrence of the Change in Control and (ii) the Executive’s death.

  • Date of Termination means the date of receipt of the Notice of Termination or any later date specified therein, as the case may be; provided, however, that (i) if the Executive's employment is terminated by the Company other than for Cause or Disability, the Date of Termination shall be the date on which the Company notifies the Executive of such termination and (ii) if the Executive's employment is terminated by reason of death or Disability, the Date of Termination shall be the date of death of the Executive or the Disability Effective Date, as the case may be.

  • Term of Employment means the period specified in Section 2 below.

  • Benefit Period means the period of time from the date of the Accident causing the Injury for which benefits are payable, as shown in the Schedule of Benefits, and the date after which no further benefits will be paid.
