Stock Segregated Accounts definition

Stock Segregated Accounts means, in relation to each Broker Participant, the Stock Accounts in CCASS of such Participant other than its Stock Clearing Account and General Stock Collateral Account and in relation to each Participant other than a Broker Participant and an Investor Participant, the Stock Accounts in CCASS of such Participant other than its Stock Clearing Account, as referred to in Rule 601.
Stock Segregated Accounts means a stock segregated account or sub-account maintained by a CCASS participant with CCASS;
Stock Segregated Accounts or “SSA” means, (i) in relation to each Clearing Participant or Clearing Agency Participant, the Stock Accounts in CCASS of such Participant other than its Stock Clearing Account, Stock Lending Account and Stock Collateral Control Account; and (ii) in relation to each Participant other than a Clearing Participant, a Clearing Agency Participant or an Investor Participant, the Stock Accounts in CCASS of such Participant other than its Stock Clearing Account and Stock Lending Account, as referred to in Rule 601, including but not limited to SSA with Statement Service of the Participant, and in relation to a TSF CCASS Participant, TSF Accounts shall not be regarded as Stock Segregated Accounts; “T-day” means, in relation to a transaction in Eligible Securities other than China Connect Securities, the day of the transaction as reported by the Exchange, and in relation to a transaction in China Connect Securities, the day of the transaction as reported by the SEHK Subsidiary, its designated person or the relevant China Connect Clearing House; “Trading day” means, in relation to securities and other products which are traded on the Exchange, a day on which trading is conducted on the Exchange and in relation to China Connect Securities, a day on which trading is conducted on the relevant China Connect Market via the relevant Trading Link and the China Connect Clearing Services of CCASS in respect of the clearing and settlement of China Connect Securities are open for use by China Connect Clearing Participants; “Trading Links” has the same meaning as defined in the Exchange Rules; “Uncertificated Eligible Security” means an Eligible Security (other than a Foreign Security or a China Connect Security) issued by an Overseas Issuer in uncertificated form and designated byHKSCC as an “Uncertificated Eligible Security” for the purposes of the Rules;

Examples of Stock Segregated Accounts in a sentence

  • In such a case, the delivering Participant may elect to make use of Eligible Securities in any stated Stock Accounts, other than the Stock Collateral Control Account or the TSF Accounts (if the delivering Participant is a TSF CCASS Participant), it has, including its Stock Segregated Accounts.

  • An Investor Participant will not be allocated Stock Segregated Accounts.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, HKSCC acknowledges and confirms that, save as otherwise provided in the Rules, HKSCC has no proprietary interest in the Eligible Securities deposited into CCASS, in particular, Eligible Securities in the Stock Segregated Accounts of Participants.

  • As permitted in the Rules, Participants may hold their China Connect Securities in one or more Stock Segregated Accounts within CCASS.

  • HKSCC provides two types of stock accounts in CCASS, the Stock Clearing Account and Stock Segregated Accounts.

  • In addition, the provisions of Section 9 shall apply analogously to legal imperfections in title.

  • Stock Segregated Accounts are provided to Participants for their internal record keeping.

  • The Stock Segregated Accounts of a Participant will be assigned or re-assigned account numbers from 2 onwards.

  • If a Participant wishes to open additional Stock Segregated Accounts, close existing ones, or change account names, it must apply in the prescribed manner to HKSCC.

Related to Stock Segregated Accounts

  • Segregated Account means a client bank account as defined by and held in accordance with the Applicable Regulations.

  • Investment Accounts means the Collateral Account, Securities Accounts, Commodities Accounts and Deposit Accounts.

  • Collection Accounts As defined in Section 3.10(a).

  • Special Accounts means the accounts referred to in Section 2.02 (b) of this Agreement;

  • Concentration Account has the meaning provided in Section 6.13(c).

  • Surplus Account has the meaning assigned to it in Section 3.02(a).

  • Management Accounts means unaudited accounts which shall incorporate a profit and loss statement, cash flow statement and balance sheet.

  • Excluded Accounts means any Xxxxx Cash Account and any other deposit account used for (a) funding payroll or segregating payroll taxes or funding other employee wage or benefit payments, (b) segregating 401(k) contributions or contributions to an employee stock purchase plan or (c) funding other employee health and benefit plans.
