The Japanese pension system consists of three tiers; the Basic Pension Account, the Welfare Insurance and National Pension Special Accounts, and employment-related pensions.
For each payment made by the Borrower out of the Special Accounts, the Borrower shall, at such time as the Bank shall reasonably request, furnish to the Bank such documents and other evidence showing that such payment was made exclusively for eligible expenditures.
The Bank has been appointed as a manager of Busan City Government’s Budgetary Funds (General Account and several Special Accounts) since January 1, 2001.
On the basis of such request or requests, the Bank shall, on behalf of the Borrower, withdraw from the Loan Account and deposit into such Special Accounts such amount or amounts as the Borrower shall have requested.
Deposits into, and payments out of, the Special Accounts shall be made in accordance with the provisions of Schedule 6 to this Agreement.
