Permit Parking Place definition

Permit Parking Place means a road or any length of road identified in the plans attached to this Order, which is provided by the Council for the leaving of a vehicle under the provisions of this Order, and is indicated by the prescribed traffic signs;
Permit Parking Place means an area on a carriageway designated as a parking place for use by permit holders by Article 92 and Article 93 of this order;
Permit Parking Place means a length of road authorised to be used as a Parking Place by Article 17 of this Order;

Examples of Permit Parking Place in a sentence

  • Only Permits displayed in this manner will have the effect of allowing a Motor Vehicle to wait or to load or unload in contravention of the waiting or loading restrictions or to use the Permit Parking Place.

  • Each area of carriageway which is identified as Permit holders only Mon - Fri 10 am - 4.30 pm in the plans and unless otherwise so indicated on the said plans bounded on one side of that length by the edge of the carriageway is hereby designated to be used as a Permit Parking Place during the permitted hours prescribed by sub- paragraph (b) of that expression, subject to the following provisions of this order.

  • The limits of each Permit Parking Place shall be indicated by the Council on the carriageway by appropriate traffic signs.

  • Any person generally or specially authorised by the Council, or a civil enforcement officer or a police constable in uniform or police community support officer may move or cause to be moved, in case of emergency, to any place he thinks fit, any vehicle left in a Permit Parking Place.

  • At all times during which a vehicle is left in a Permit Parking Place during the Prescribed Hours, the Driver thereof shall cause to be displayed in the front windscreen of the vehicle a valid Permit relating to that Parking Place in the Protective Cover so that all of the particulars referred to in Article 27 of this Order are readily visible from the front or nearside of the vehicle.


More Definitions of Permit Parking Place

Permit Parking Place means an area on a highway designated as a parking place for use by permit holders by Article 11 of this order;

Permit Parking Place means a length of road specified in Schedule 2 to this Order indicated by markings on the surface as an area where a vehicle lawfully permitted to use a KR03 Parking Permit may be stationed;
