Per Diem or Hourly. An employee whose compensation is fixed on a per diem or hourly basis shall be paid the daily or hourly rate for work performed during the bi-weekly payroll period on a bi-weekly pay schedule. Conversion to Bi-Weekly Rates 214. Rates of compensation established on other than bi-weekly basis may be converted to bi-weekly rates by the Controller for payroll purposes.

  • Per Diem 5.4.1. Per diem is paid when the tasks to be performed by an Expert, as stated in the Terms of Reference (Annex 2), are performed more than fifty (50) kilometres away from the Expert’s normal place of work.

  • Overtime Hours Except as otherwise provided in this section, all hours worked in excess of the established work day, before or after an employee's regular scheduled shift, or on any regularly scheduled day off, shall be considered overtime. All paid vacation time, paid holidays, paid sick leave, compensatory time off, and paid leaves of absence shall be considered as "time worked" for purposes of this Article. Part-time employees whose established work day is less than eight (8) hours shall not be considered to be working overtime until having completed eight (8) hours of work.
