OWNER’S RIGHT TO PERFORM CONSTRUCTION AND TO AWARD SEPARATE CONTRACTS. § 7.4.1 The Owner reserves the right to perform construction or operations related to the Project with the Owner’s own forces, and to award separate contracts in connection with other portions of the Project.

If the Contractor claims that delay or additional cost is involved because of such action by the Owner, the Contractor shall make such Claim as provided elsewhere in the Contract Documents.

OWNER’S RIGHT TO PERFORM CONSTRUCTION AND TO AWARD SEPARATE CONTRACTS. A. Owner may perform with its own forces, construction or operations related to the Project. Owner may also award separate contracts in connection with other portions of the Project or other construction or operations, on the Site or areas contiguous to the Site, under conditions similar to these Contract Documents, or may have utility owners perform other work. When separate contracts are awarded for different portions of the Project or other construction or operations on the Site, the term “Contractor” in these Contract Documents shall mean the Contractor herein.
OWNER’S RIGHT TO PERFORM CONSTRUCTION AND TO AWARD SEPARATE CONTRACTS. Owner reserves the right to perform construction related to the Project and to award separate contracts in connection with other portions of the Project (hereinafter referred to as “Special Subcontractors”). Owner shall provide for coordination of the activities of Owner’s own employees and of each of the Special Subcontractors with the Work of the Contractor. The Contractor shall participate with each Special Subcontractor and Owner in reviewing their respective construction schedules when directed to do so by Owner. The Contractor shall make any revisions to the Schedule and the Contract Price after a joint review and mutual agreement between Owner and Contractor.

If the Contractor claims that delay or additional cost is involved because of such action by the Owner, the Contractor shall make such Claim as provided in Article 15.other construction work, maintenance and repair work and school program operations at the site and near the site during the time period of the Work. Owner may perform other Work with separate Contractors or forces. Owner shall have access to the building on the site at all times.

OWNER’S RIGHT TO PERFORM CONSTRUCTION AND TO AWARD SEPARATE CONTRACTS. .1 The Owner reserves the right to perform construction or operations related to the Project with the DB, Owner’s own forces, or other forces contracted by Owner; and to award separate contracts in connection with other portions of the Project, or other construction or operations on the Project site, under terms and conditions reasonably similar to this Agreement, including those terms and conditions related to insurance and waiver of subrogation. The Owner shall notify Xxxxxxx promptly after execution of any separate contract. Xxxxxxx shall have claim against Owner for an adjustment in the Contract Time and Contract Sum arising from any delay or impact caused by the DB or the Owner, or a lack of coordination between the IDB Work and the DB Work not caused by Xxxxxxx. If Xxxxxxx claims that delay or additional cost is involved because of such action by the Owner, Xxxxxxx may make a Claim as provided in Article 17.
