Major Maintenance Work means major replacement and/or repairs at the Transitional Housing Facility that are either structural in nature or fall outside the scope of the Building Manager’s skills or require the services of a specialist contractor;

Major Maintenance Work has the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 5.0 of this Exhibit A. “Major Maintenance Work Labor, Technology and Equipment Cost” means, with respect to Major Maintenance Work performed during an applicable period, the aggregate cost for all Individual Service Hours, or fractions thereof, where the cost of each Individual Service Hour or fraction thereof in which the same Direct Labor Rate is charged shall be the sum of (A) one (1) hour (or a fraction thereof if the cost of less than one (1) Individual Service Hour shall be calculated, as applicable) multiplied by (I) the Direct Labor Rate multiplied by (II) the sum of one (1) plus Labor Loading Rate #1 plus Labor Loading Rate #2 plus the Supervision Loading Rate plus (B) one (1) hour (or a fraction thereof if the cost of less than one (1) Individual Service Hour shall be calculated, as applicable) multiplied by the sum of (a) the Labor Loading Rate #3 plus (b) the Technology and Equipment Cost Rate. Contractor shall provide Owner from time to time with current labor rates and loading rates.

Related to Major Maintenance Work

  • Major maintenance means the adjustment, repair or replacement of a component or module that could affect the accuracy of a measurement.

  • Maintenance work means the repair of existing facilities when the size, type or extent of such facilities is not thereby changed or increased. While “maintenance” includes painting and decorating and is covered under the law, it does not include work such as routine landscape maintenance or janitorial services.

  • Maintenance Schedule means a document which describes the specific scheduled maintenance tasks and their frequency of completion necessary for the safe operation of those aircraft to which it applies;

  • Licensee Improvements means any improvement, enhancement, modification, derivative work or upgrade to any of Licensor Patent Rights made, conceived, reduced to practice, affixed or otherwise developed by or on behalf of Licensee during the term of this Agreement and solely as exercised under the License.

  • Software Maintenance means the process of modifying software after delivery to correct faults, improve performance or other attributes, or adapt to a changed environment. (Reference ISO/IEC 14764:2006, as amended or superseded.) Software maintenance does not include any customization or configuration.

  • Base Building Work means the base building work for the Building as described in this Manual.

  • Operation and Maintenance Costs means the costs of:

  • Furniture maintenance product means a wax, polish, conditioner, or any other product designed for the purpose of polishing, protecting or enhancing finished wood surfaces other than floors. Furniture maintenance product does not include: dusting aids; wood cleaners, and products designed solely for the purpose of cleaning; and products designed to leave a permanent finish such as stains, sanding sealers and lacquers.

  • Operations and maintenance means a project delivery method in which the District enters into a single contract for the routine operation, routine repair, and routine maintenance of an infrastructure facility.

  • drainage work means any construction or reconstruction of or any alteration or addition to, or any work done in connection with a drainage installation but shall not include any work undertaken solely for purposes of repair or maintenance;

  • Operation and Maintenance Expenses or ‘O&M expenses' means the expenditure incurred on operation and maintenance of the project, or part thereof, and includes the expenditure on manpower, repairs, spares, consumables, insurance and overheads;

  • Period of Maintenance means the specified period of maintenance from the date of completion of the works as certified by the Engineer.
