Long Term Occasional Teacher definition

Long Term Occasional Teacher means an Occasional Teacher who is employed for more than ten (10) consecutive instructional days as a replacement for one teacher.

More Definitions of Long Term Occasional Teacher

Long Term Occasional Teacher means a teacher who is required to teach for a period of twelve (12) or more consecutive teaching days and who is employed to teach as a substitute for a permanent, probationary, or temporary teacher who has died during the school year or who is absent from regular duties for less than two school years. It is understood that closing of the schools due to emergency or inclement weather or accessing any form of leave available under Board Policy 411 - Absences and Leaves will not constitute an interruption in the determination of the twelve (12) days.
