Long Term Occasional Teacher definition

Long Term Occasional Teacher means an Occasional Teacher who is employed for more than ten (10) consecutive instructional days as a replacement for one teacher.

Long Term Occasional Teacher means a teacher who is required to teach under Section for a period of fifteen (15) or more consecutive teaching days in the same assignment.

Long Term Occasional Teacher means a teacher who is required to teach for a period of twelve (12) or more consecutive teaching days and who is employed to teach as a substitute for a permanent, probationary, or temporary teacher who has died during the school year or who is absent from regular duties for less than two school years. It is understood that closing of the schools due to emergency or inclement weather or accessing any form of leave available under Board Policy 411 - Absences and Leaves will not constitute an interruption in the determination of the twelve (12) days.

• Such premium contributions shall continue until the expiry of the said Long Term Occasional Teacher Agreement.

• OF A PRE-SCHEDULED LONG TERM OCCASIONAL TEACHER ASSIGNMENT 27.1.0. More Definitions of Long Term Occasional Teacher

Long Term Occasional Teacher means an Occasional Teacher qualified under the Education Act and Regulations to teach as a substitute for a permanent, probationary or temporary Teacher:

Long Term Occasional Teacher means an Occasional Teacher with whom the Board has signed a “Letter of Nomination” for a period of fifteen (15) or more consecutive days as a replacement for a teacher.

Long Term Occasional Teacher means a teacher who is required to teach in the same teaching assignment for a period of thirteen (1 3) or more consecutive days. It is understood that any Professional Activity day falling in the thirteen (13) day consecutive period will not be considered as a break in consecutive service.

Long Term Occasional Teacher means an Occasional Teacher who is employed for more than twelve (12) consecutive instructional days as a replacement for one teacher.

Long Term Occasional Teacher means a teacher who is required to teach for a period of eleven (11) or more consecutive teaching days as a replacement for one teacher employed under a permanent or probationary contract. All other Occasional Teachers covered by this Agreement are referred to as Short Term Occasional Teachers. Notwithstanding A.3.2.1, if the teacher being replaced returns for one day and is once again replaced by the same occasional teacher, the number of instructional days will be deemed to be consecutive. This clause would only apply once during the teacher’s absence and only if the reason for the teacher’s second absence is the same as the first absence.

Long Term Occasional Teacher means an Occasional Teacher who has worked for a period of thirteen (13) or more consecutive teaching days as a replacement for a teacher. When a Professional Development Day occurs within the first thirteen (13) days of a casual teaching assignment, such day shall not constitute an interruption of said assignment.
