Local Area Network (LAN) means all communications equipment and components that are used to transmit voice, image and data signals within a local area network and which initially consist of the communications facilities and components in use by Certegy immediately prior to the Commencement Date to provide local area network communications facilities to the Certegy Group as described in Schedule I to each Transaction Document for such Transaction Document, including without limitation the associated attachments, peripherals, features, software and accessories, communications lines and Cabling, including the wiring systems, at the locations specified in such Schedule. Losses means all losses, liabilities, damages, penalties and claims (including taxes and all related interest and penalties incurred directly with respect thereto), and all related costs, expenses and other charges (including all reasonable attorneys’ fees and reasonable costs of investigation, litigation, settlement, judgment, interest and penalties).
Listed Subcontractors means EDS subcontractors approved by the Parties for engagement to provide a portion of the Services under a Transaction Document.

  • Subcontractors means subcontractors or subconsultants at any tier that are under the direct or indirect control or responsibility of the Contractor, and includes all independent contractors, agents, employees, authorized resellers, or anyone else for whom the Contractor may be liable at any tier, including a person or entity that is, or will be, providing or performing an essential aspect of this Contract, including Contractor’s manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers.

  • Covered subcontractor means any entity that has a subcontract valued in excess of $1 million, except a subcontract for the acquisition of commercial items, including commercially available off-the-shelf items.
