Gross Electricity Charge definition

Gross Electricity Charge means the total cost of electricity consumed within the Theatre as shown and billed in the monthly bill issued by the power company. “Hong Kong” means the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China. “Inspection Officer” means the officer appointed by the Government for the purpose of inspecting the Business carried out by the Contractor under the Contract. “Intellectual Property Rights” means patents, trade marks, service marks, trade names, design rights, copyright, domain names, database rights, rights in know- how, new inventions, designs, processes and other intellectual property rights whether now known or created in future (of whatever nature and wherever arising) and in each case whether registered or unregistered and including applications for the grant of any such rights. “Invitation to Quotation” means the invitation issued by the Government Representative to invite quotations for the Contract on the terms set out in the Quotation Documents. “Ko Shan Theatre” means Ko Shan Theatre and Ko Shan Theatre New Wing located at 77 Ko Shan Road, Hung Hom, Kowloon, Hong Kong as indicated in Annex A to Contract Schedule 3Location Map of Ko Shan Theatre and Ko Shan Theatre New Wing. “LCSD” means the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. “Licence” means the licence to access, use and occupy the Licence Area referred to in Clause 1 of the Conditions of Contract. “Licence Area” means the area as more particularly described in Annex B to Contract Schedule 3 – General Information on Ko Shan Theatre, Ko Shan Theatre New Wing and the Catering Premises and as delineated in Annex C and Annex D to Contract Schedule 3. “Monthly Licence Fee” means the fixed amount payable by the Contractor on a monthly basis for the operation of the Business as stipulated in Contract Schedule 1Price Schedule subject to any adjustment in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Contract.

  • Utility Charges means water, sewer, electricity, gas and other utility charges, if any, applicable to the Real Property or the Leased Real Property;

  • Capacity Charge means a charge for public facilities in existence at the time a charge is imposed or charges for new public facilities to be acquired or constructed in the future that are of proportional benefit to the person or property being charged, including supply or capacity contracts for rights or entitlements, real property interests, and entitlements and other rights of the local agency involving capital expense relating to its use of existing or new public facilities. A “capacity charge” does not include a commodity charge.

  • Bond Service Charges means, for any period or payable at any time, the principal of, premium, if any, and interest on the Bonds for that period or payable at that time whether due at maturity or upon redemption, Mandatory Tender or acceleration.

  • Delivery charges means charges by the seller for preparation and delivery to a location designated by the purchaser of tangible personal property or services. Delivery charges include, but are not limited to, transportation, shipping, postage, handling, crating, and packing. Beginning September 1, 2004, delivery charges do not include the charges for delivery of direct mail if the charges are separately stated on an invoice or similar billing document given to the purchaser. If a shipment includes both exempt property and taxable property, the seller shall allocate the delivery charge using 1 of the following methods:

  • Energy Charge means a charge for each kilowatt-hour (kWh) of electrical energy;

  • Facility Charge means one percent (1%) of the Maximum Term Loan Amount.

  • Delivery Charge means the total amount charged to the Authorized User for shipment of the Vehicle(s) from the Delivery Origin to the location(s) designated by the Authorized User on Form A: Mini-Bid Request, and on the Purchase Order.

  • Installation Charges means those Charges set out in the Order in relation to installation of the Service and/or any Purchased Equipment, Customer Equipment and/or BT Equipment as applicable.

  • Contract Charges means charges that accrue during a given month as defined in Article III. “Contract Term” is defined in Article IV.

  • Connection Charge is the sum payable by the Communications Provider in accordance with the Openreach Price List for provisioning of the Service;

  • Service Charge means the amount charged for making a service available on line and is in addition to the actual fee for a service itself. For example, one who renews a license on line will pay the license renewal fee and a service charge.

  • Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) means the rechargeable energy storage system that provides electric energy for electrical propulsion.

  • Room charge means the charge imposed for the use or occupancy of a room, excluding charges for food, beverages, state use tax, telephone service, or like services paid in connection with the charge, and excluding reimbursement of the assessment imposed by this act.

  • SLDC Charges means the charges levied by the SLDC of the state wherein the Solar Power Project is located;

  • Electricity Supplier means any person authorised to supply electricity.

  • Electricity Services means the services associated with the provision of electricity to a person, including the exchange of electric energy, making financial arrangements to manage financial risk associated with the pool price, Distribution Access Service, system access service, ancillary services, billing, metering, performing load settlement and any other services specified in regulations made under the Act;

  • Electricity Supply Code means the Electricity Supply Code specified under section 50;

  • CCAA Charges means the Administration Charge and the Directors’ Charge;

  • Electricity means Active Energy and Reactive Energy.

  • Access Charges means the sum payable under the Access Agreement and/or this RAO agreed by the Operators to be paid by the Access Seeker to the Access Provider for providing the Access Service, the indicative Access Charges are as per Appendix C hereof which rate is exclusive of GST which shall be payable also by the Access Seeker.

  • Declared Monthly Consumption means the Declared Monthly Consumption set out in the Acceptance Form for Electricity Supply.

  • Access Charge has the meaning set out in Clause 6.1;

  • Usage Charges means the Charges for the Service or applicable part of the Service that are calculated by multiplying the volume of units that the Customer used or incurred in a period (e.g. number of users using the Service, or the number of minutes the Service was used for) with the relevant fee that is specified in the Online Order.

  • Service Charges means the fees levied by the municipality in terms of its tariff policy for any municipal services rendered in respect of an immovable property and includes any penalties, interest or surcharges levied or imposed in terms of this policy.
