Environmental and Health Laws definition

Environmental and Health Laws means any and all federal, state, local and foreign statutes, laws, regulations, ordinances, judgments, permits and other governmental rules or restrictions relating to human health, safety (including without limitation occupational safety and health standards), or the environment or to emissions, discharges or releases of pollutants, contaminants, hazardous or toxic substances, wastes or any other controlled or regulated substance into the environment, including without limitation ambient air, surface water, ground water or land, or otherwise relating to the manufacture, processing, distribution, use, treatment, storage, disposal, transport or handling of pollutants, contaminants, hazardous or toxic substances, wastes or any other controlled or regulated substance or the clean-up or other remediation thereof.
Environmental and Health Laws means any and all federal, state, regional, county, local and foreign statutes, laws, common law, regulations, ordinances, judgments, orders (including, without limitation, administrative orders), permits, licenses and governmental rules or restrictions relating to human health, safety (including without limitation occupational safety and health standards), pollution, natural resources, conservation or the environment, or to emissions, discharges, Releases or threatened Releases of pollutants, contaminants, Hazardous Materials or wastes into the environment, (including without limitation ambient air, surface water, ground water or land), or otherwise relating to the manufacture, processing, distribution, use, treatment, storage, disposal, transport or handling of pollutants, contaminants, Hazardous Materials or wastes, or the removal, investigation or clean-up (including but not limited to oversight, security and relocation) or other remediation thereof.
Environmental and Health Laws means any U.S. federal, state or local law, statute, rule or regulation or domestic common law relating to the environment or occupational health and safety, including any statute, regulation or order pertaining to (i) treatment, storage, disposal, generation and transportation of pollutants, contaminants, chemicals, industrial, toxic or hazardous substances, oil or petroleum products or solid or hazardous waste (collectively, "Hazardous Substances"); (ii) air, water and noise pollution; (iii) groundwater and surface water contamination; (iv) the release into the environment of Hazardous Substances, including without limitation emissions, discharges, injections, spills, escapes or dumping of pollutants, contaminants or chemicals; (v) the protection of wild life, marine sanctuaries and wetlands, including without limitation all endangered and threatened species; (vi) storage tanks, vessels and containers containing Hazardous Substances; (vii) underground storage tanks, abandoned, disposed or discarded barrels and other closed receptacles containing Hazardous Substances; (viii) health and safety of employees; and (ix) manufacture, processing, use, distribution, treatment, storage, disposal, transportation or handling of Hazardous Substances.   • Tenant agrees to deliver promptly to Landlord any notices, orders or similar documents received from any governmental agency or official concerning any violation of any Environmental and Health Laws or with respect to any Hazardous Materials affecting the Premises, the Building or the Complex.

Environmental and Health Laws means any and all present and future federal, state, county and municipal or other local statutes, laws, regulations, ordinances, rules, judgments, orders, decrees, codes, plans, injunctions, permits, concessions, grants, franchises, licenses, agreements or other governmental restrictions applicable to the Complex relating to Hazardous Materials or the environment or to emissions, discharges or releases or threatened releases of Hazardous Materials into the environment, including, without limitation, into the ambient air, surface water, ground water or in, on or under any land, or otherwise relating to the manufacture, processing, distribution, use, treatment, storage, release or threatened release, disposal, transport or handling of Hazardous Materials or the cleanup or other remediation thereof. Environmental and Health Laws include, without limitation, the following: the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability At of 1980, as amended (42 U.S.C. Section 9601 et. seq.), the Hazardous Materials Transportation Act, as amended (49 U.S.C. Section 1801 et seq.), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976, as amended (42 U.S.C. Section 6901 et seq.), the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Health and Safety Code Section 25249.5 et seq.), the California Hazardous Waste Control Act (Health and Safety Code Section 25100 et seq.) The obligations of Tenant contained in this Section 6.21 shall survive the expiration or termination of this Lease.
