Damage to personal clothing. An employee shall be reasonably compensated for damage to personal clothing worn on duty, or reimbursed dry cleaning charges for excessive soiling to personal clothing worn on duty, provided the damage or soiling did not occur as a result of the employee’s negligence, or failure to wear the protective clothing provided. Each case shall be determined on its merits by the employer.

Damage to personal clothing. Employees suffering damage to personal clothing and all employees who suffer damage to personal property in the performance of their official duties will be reimbursed as subject to Department of Administrative Services Rules 000-0-000 (DAS Risk management policy) and any subsequent amendments thereto.
Damage to personal clothing. Any employee who suffers a loss through damage, destruction or theft of personal property usually and ordinarily on his/her person while on the job, in the performance of their job duties, may file a written claim within thirty (30) calendar days of the date of the incident to the County Director which shall include:
