Church Personnel definition

Church Personnel means all of the following:
Church Personnel. For purposes of this policy only, Church Personnel includes all individuals who minister, work, or volunteer in any school, parish, or ministry of the Diocese whose compliance with this policy is sought. The term has no legal meaning or significance outside the scope of this policy and is not indicative of any employment or agency relationship.
Church Personnel means priests, deacons, lay Diocesan and Parochial employees and volunteers, independent contractors, women religious (sisters or nuns), religious brothers, seminarians and those enrolled in the Permanent Deacon Formation Program.

Examples of Church Personnel in a sentence

  • Church Personnel are prohibited from using physical punishment in any way for behavior management of children and youth.

  • When supervising or assisting private activities such as dressing, showering or diapering infants or children, Church Personnel will remain in an area observable by other adults or work in pairs.

  • Church Personnel are prohibited from having sexual contact with a child or youth.

  • Church Personnel are prohibited from dressing, undressing, bathing, or showering in the presence of children or youth.

  • Stating which behaviors are appropriate and inappropriate allows Church Personnel to comfortably show positive affection in ministry, and yet identify individuals who are not maintaining safe boundaries with children or youth.

  • The following guidelines are to be carefully followed by all Church Personnel working around or with children or youth.

  • Church Personnel are prohibited from using harsh language, degrading punishment, or mechanical restraint such as rope or tape for behavior management.

  • Church Personnel are prohibited from participating in or allowing others to conduct any hazing activities relating to children’s or youth ministry or camp activities.

  • Church Personnel are prohibited from discussing their own sexual activities, including dreams and fantasies, or discussing their use of sexually oriented or explicit materials such as pornography, videos or materials on or from the Internet, with children or youth.

  • Church Personnel are prohibited from dating or becoming romantically involved with a child or youth.


More Definitions of Church Personnel

Church Personnel means any cleric, member of a religious institute or other persons who are employed by a Church body, or appointed by a Church body to voluntary positions in which they work with children or young people, or engage in other forms of pastoral care (Towards Healing, 2010, p. 3).
Church Personnel means all persons, (clergy, religious and laity) who are employed by, under contract of employment with, or volunteer in any Diocesan Institution or Parish that provides ministry to children, youth, and/or vulnerable adults. “Teenage Church Personnel” are those teenagers 14 up to 18 years of age who are left alone in an “unsupervised” ministry to children. Such personnel will be required to undergo the full screening and training process.
Church Personnel means all persons, (clergy, religious and laity) who are employed by, under contract of employment with, or volunteer in any Diocesan Institution or Parish that provides ministry to children, youth, and/or vulnerable adults. “Teenage Church Personnel” are those teenagers 14 up to 18 years of age who are left alone in an “unsupervised” ministry to children. Such teens will be required to undergo VIRTUS “Healthy Relationships for Teens” training. See Appendix A, B, F, G, I, J, and K.

Related to Church Personnel

  • School personnel means professional employee or professional’s delegate of the school district who provides health, educational, social, psychological, law enforcement, or child care services.

  • Contractor Personnel means Contractor’s employees and subcontractors (as well as any employees or subcontractors of those subcontractors) performing the Services.

  • Educational personnel means persons who must meet requirements pursuant to state law as a condition of employment in educational programs.

  • Expatriate Personnel means such persons who at the time of being so hired had their domicile outside India;

  • Judicial Branch Personnel means members, justices, judges, judicial officers, subordinate judicial officers, employees, and agents of a Judicial Branch Entity.

  • Company Personnel means any current or former officer, employee, director or consultant of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.

  • Resident Personnel means such persons who at the time of being so hired had their domicile inside India;

  • Key Personnel means those persons named in the Specification as being key personnel.

  • Company's Personnel means the personnel to be provided by OIL or OIL's Contractor (other than the Contractor executing the Contract). The Company representatives of OIL are also included in the Company's personnel.

  • Vendor Personnel means employees, agents, independent contractors, or any other staff or personnel acting on behalf of or at the direction of Vendor or any Vendor Contractor performing or providing Services or Deliverables under this Agreement.

  • Local Personnel means such professionals and support staff who at the time of being so provided had their domicile inside the Government’s country.

  • Supportive personnel means unlicensed individuals who:

  • Support personnel means the staffs that support the Key Personnel.

  • Supplier Personnel means Supplier’s employees, consultants, agents, independent contractors and Subcontractors.

  • Medical personnel means those persons assigned, by a Party to the conflict, exclusively to the medical purposes enumerated under subparagraph (e) or to the administration of medical units or to the operation or administration of medical transports. Such assignments may be either permanent or temporary. The term includes:

  • Contractor's Personnel means the personnel to be provided by the Contractor to provide services as per the contract.

  • Personnel means persons hired by the Consultant or by any Subconsultant as employees and assigned to the performance of the Services or any part thereof;

  • Provider Personnel means all persons employed or engaged by the Provider together with the Provider’s servants, agents, consultants and Sub-Contractors (and all persons employed by any Sub-Contractor together with the Sub-Contractor’s servants, consultants, agents, Provider’s and Sub-Contractors) used in the performance of its obligations under this Agreement;

  • Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) means

  • HSP’s Personnel and Volunteers means the Controlling Shareholders (if any), directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers and other representatives of the HSP. In addition to the foregoing, HSP’s Personnel and Volunteers shall include the contractors and subcontractors and their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers or other representatives;

  • Service Provider Personnel means and refers to Service Provider employees or subcontractors hired and maintained to perform Services hereunder.

  • Code of Ethics Contact Person means the Chief Compliance Officer or such person or persons as may be from time to time designated.

  • Senior Management Personnel means personnel of the company who are members of its core management team excluding Board of Directors. Normally, this would comprise all members of management one level below the executive directors, including all functional heads.

  • Key Management Personnel means persons having authority and responsibility for planning, directing and controlling the activities of the Company, directly or indirectly, including any Director (whether executive or otherwise) of the Company;

  • Relevant Personnel means the Data Processor’s employees, agents and personnel and such other personnel of the Data Controller as may be approved in writing by the Data Controller from time to time in respect of access to the Personal Data;

  • Parties to a Traineeship Scheme means the employer organisation and/or the employer and the union involved in the consultation and negotiation required for the approval of a traineeship scheme.
