Certificate of Substantial Completion definition

Certificate of Substantial Completion means the certificate executed by the A/E, ODR and Contractor that documents to the best of A/E’s and ODR’s knowledge and understanding, Contractor’s sufficient completion of the work in accordance with the Contract, so as to be operational and fit for the use intended.
Certificate of Substantial Completion means a document substantially in the form of Exhibit E, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, issued by the Developer to the City in accordance with this Agreement and evidencing the Developer’s satisfaction of all obligations and covenants to construct the Redevelopment Project in accordance with the Redevelopment Plan and this Agreement.

  • Upon issuance of the Certificate of Substantial Completion of the Works, the Contractor shall be deemed to have undertaken to complete with due expedition any outstanding work during the Defects Liability Period.
