Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxx Xxxxxxx. All major sublacual rivers of the Po watershed alpine sector (Mincio, Chiese, Oglio, Adda and Ticino) display nitrate anomalies, that are sudden increases of nitrate concentrations, sometimes by a factor of 10 or more, over relatively short reaches. Students will visit the area of Soncino, that hosts more than 40 springs, representing simultaneously hot spots of diversity and pollution and that lays in the so-called spring belt. Here, the complex interaction among human regulation of river discharge, local hydrology, pedology and agricultural practices leads to diffuse pollution of the groundwater. Students will be driven through the mechanisms of nitrate transfer from cultivated soil to groundwater and from groundwater to surface water. Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxx Xxxxxxx. On November 11, 2010, after several years of declining health Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxx Xxxxxxx was ushered into the heavenly places by her Lord and Savior, Xxxxx Xxxxxx. She was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma on August 23,1915 to Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx and Xxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxxx. She completed her high school education in Ardmore and began training as a nurse. It was during this time that she met her future husband, Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxxx. They were married on July 6,1934. They lived in Oklahoma until World War II, when Xxxxxx was called to active duty. After the war, Xxxxxx and Xxxxxxxxx moved to Roswell, NM, and began to work and save to start their own furniture business. Their dreams were realized in 1952 when they opened the first Xxxxxx-Xxxxxxx furniture store in Lovington, NM. Their busi- ness grew and expanded to other cities, most notably, Hobbs and Roswell. After their retirement, Xxxxxx and Xxxxxxxxx moved to Ruidoso, a place they had always loved. They were instrumental in beginning the Golden Age club in Ruidoso in the early 1970s. Traveling was
