Use of Casual. The Company agrees that any use of casual help is not to control the growth of the bargaining unit. Its purpose is to allow Company the flexibility necessary to perform relief and work which it not feasible to schedule for regular assignment. Casual employees can be used on a one for one replacement of full-time employees who are absent or on vacation. Any use of such casual employees in the classification of Custodian will be subject to the following conditions: Any work done would be paid the full-time rate. Any hours by casual Custodians will be exempt from "hours allowed for the Company" (Re: Hiring Clause). No casual work is an available and willing full-time employee at straight time No casual will work a3 a Custodian or otherwise in a special work situation unless there are no willing full-time employees. For extra work (work which is over and above the weekly blocks), they will be allowed to work runs of eight hours or less.
