SPECIAL WORK. Whenever the Employer performs any of the special work defined in 1.2 the special provisions set out herein shall supersede any other provisions in this Agreement; if no special provisions are set out, all of the general provisions in this Agreement shall apply on special work. On all special work described herein, the Xxxxxxx on the job will be paid for the number of hours that he works or for the number of hours that any other Journeyman except the utility welder works, whichever is greater.
SPECIAL WORK. 15.1 The jurisdiction of the work described in Article 15 of the Mainline Pipeline Agreement will also apply to the Distribution sector.
SPECIAL WORK. When an employee has completed his/her scheduled shift and is called out to perform special work, he/she shall receive premium pay in accordance with the proper overtime rates. A minimum guarantee of two (2) hours pay at the applicable overtime is due for show up. A minimum of four (4) hours pay is due when put to work at the applicable overtime rate.
SPECIAL WORK. Whenever the Employer performs any of the special work described in Article I, Paragraph (J) above, except that covered by the Attachments, the special provisions set out herein shall apply and, to the extent they differ from the provisions in other parts of this Agreement, they shall supersede such provisions. SPECIAL WORK. (a) Special work is defined as work that is not scheduled. It arises during the course of the shift and requires additional labour to cover it. Any full-time employee who shall be assigned to perform special work which is to commence after completion of their regular shift for the day, and the employee has not punched out for the day, shall be paid at one and one- half times the hourly wage rate applicable to the classification in which they are assigned for all hours worked on the special work. Special work shall be assigned on a rotational basis according to seniority provided employees shall be qualified and immediately available to perform the work.
SPECIAL WORK. When a special job comes up, the apprentice in the department concerned will be given an opportunity to work wherever possible with the crew on the job.
SPECIAL WORK a. All bus Operators, after six (6) months employment by the District, shall be allowed to attempt to qualify for all special work (charter service) applicable to driving.
SPECIAL WORK. (a) If upon receiving the final version of Tenant's Plans or any changes of final version of Tenant's Plans, it is Landlord's reasonable opinion that the work called for in Tenant's Plans includes Special Work (as such term is hereinafter defined), Landlord shall promptly notify Tenant thereof. Tenant shall revise Tenant's Plans to eliminate the need for such Special Work.
SPECIAL WORK. The company agrees to offer as much as possible special work which cannot be done by outside contractors to its regular employees. Because the tasks have to be done in a limited period, the company reserves the right to choose the persons it deems fit to do the job on the basis of seniority. The hourly rate of pay for that type of work will be the one of the Yard and Warehouse Labourer. Considering that this type of work will have to be done during the spare time of the employee's working schedule, the company will have the right at any time to stop this practice if we feel that prejudices are being made to the work and/or working schedule of the employee.
