Tool and Equipment Allowance. The Hotel will supply all necessary tools and equipment (including chef’s knives) that you would require to fulfil your duties. However, where cooks are required to supply their own tools, an allowance of $1.65 per day with a maximum of $8.25 per week shall be paid.

Tool and Equipment Allowance. Where the Company requires an employee to supply their own tools and equipment, the Company will reimburse the employee for the cost of supplying such tools and equipment. The provisions of this clause do not apply where the tools and equipment are paid for by the Company.
Tool and Equipment Allowance. Where an Employee is required by the Employer to use their own tools, the Employer must pay an allowance of $1.98 per day up to a maximum of $9.72 per week. The Employer will supply any towels, tools, roles, brushes, knives, choppers, implements, utensils or other materials. Employees who elect to use their own tools at their own initiative and not at the request of the Employer shall not receive the tool allowance.
