The City will make all reasonable efforts to have an SRO available for duty at his or her assigned school each day that school is in session during the regular school year. The City is not required to furnish a substitute SRO on days when the regular SRO is absent due to illness or police department requirements. The SRO shall be and remain full-time uniformed law enforcement officers of and for the City, shall remain duly licensed and qualified to carry/use firearms and operate patrol cars, and shall otherwise be able to meet the physical demands of the services described herein. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, in the event an officer should, for any reason, fail to remain so qualified, the City shall provide a substitute SRO to perform the services until such time as the unqualified SRO is able to resume his or her regular duties. The SRO's activities will be restricted to their assigned school grounds except for:

The Town will endeavor to have the SRO available for duty five days per week as the Xxxxxx Police Department schedule permits at the Vestal High School, Vestal Middle School and District buildings as needed. The Town is not required to furnish substitute officers on days when the SRO is absent due to illness or Police Department requirements. The SRO’s activities will be primarily based at his or her assigned school grounds except for:

Time and Place of Performance. The City will endeavor to have an officer available for duty at the assigned school(s) each day indicated in advance on a mutually agreed upon schedule. The assigned officer’s activities will be restricted to school grounds except for:
Time and Place of Performance. A. The City will ensure that the police officers assigned to the District as SROs will be available for duty at their assigned school forty (40) hours each week that school is in session during the term of this Agreement. The parties agree that officers assigned to the School Safety Program will serve a ten (10) or twelve (12) month, full-time, forty (40) hour a week assignment as specified by the District’s grant application. The assigned officers will wear uniforms as authorized by the applicable Phoenix Police Department Operations Orders.
