Technology Support Rooms and Riser. All technology support rooms will be provided with electronic access control and building optional standby power. Local UPS units will be provided where equipment cannot go offline. The support rooms should be located central to the areas that they serve and have clear access to cable pathways coming in and out of the rooms. The Building Entrance Facility (BEF) will be dedicated to incoming Telecommunications Service Provider, Tenant and Interbuilding services and will include the building demarcation point will be in this room. The Main Technology Room (MTR) will provide a protected environment for terminating all building-related backbone cables. This room is where the building Technology systems connect to the BEF and distribute to the TRs throughout the building.   • Configuration Management The Contractor shall maintain a configuration management program, which shall provide for the administrative and functional systems necessary for configuration identification, control, status accounting and reporting, to ensure configuration identity with the UCEU and associated cables produced by the Contractor.
