Surveillance Cameras. In an effort to prevent vandalism and damage to the property, monitoring devices may have been installed in the common areas, exterior, and garage areas. The devices are used for the limited purpose of monitoring the conduct of persons who may cause such damage and destruction.

Surveillance Cameras. Should circumstances arise which warrant increased security, unless compelling reasons dictate otherwise, the Company will advise the Local Union of the nature of the problem (e.g. theft, sabotage, etc.) and of its intention to increase security.

Surveillance Cameras. Park37 is equipped with recording security cameras in the Courtyard and Pool, Community spaces, gym, hallways, leasing office and parking lot.
Surveillance Cameras. As expressed at the 3 March 2006, Labour/Management meeting, a corporate decision has been made to introduce the use of close circuit television (CCTV) at specific locations around the Kitchener facility for the purposes of voluntary compliance with the C-TPAT program of the U.S. Custom and Border Protection. Cameras will be installed inside the shipping/receiving dock, inside the tool room loading area and at the main office entrance. These CCTV’s will be suitably located to cover the entrance and attendant areas for the purposes of law enforcement, public safely and company security. Additional CCTV’s may be installed at other locations. The Union will be advised in advance of any installation. No CCTV will be installed for the purpose of monitoring employee job performance. The reception equipment will be securely located within the premises, under the absolute control of the IT Department and General Manager. No other staff will be permitted access to CCTV monitors, recorded data, nor will the recorded images be made available to any other organization for any purpose other than law enforcement, compliance with the C-TPAT program, or for incidents requiring investigation. This CCTV system will not be utilized for the purposes of supervising employee activities. The recorded data will be stored on a stand alone computer located within the secure premises. Access to this computer will be restricted to the IT Department or other staff authorized in writing by the General Manager. Recorded images which do not relate to law enforcement activities, will be erased within a 20 day period. Images which directly relate to law enforcement activities will be retained for a period of time, not exceeding one year. Signs will be posted in the surveillance areas to provide notice of this activity.
Surveillance Cameras. Unmonitored surveillance cameras are located in the stairwells and other common areas (e.g., lobby, lounge, laundry room, hallways, dining facilities, etc.) for the protection of Licensees. Exterior cameras may monitor outside areas near the residence halls. Licensees may not install personal surveillance cameras within the Student Housing facilities or grounds. Licensees are not allowed to tamper with any university surveillance cameras. Financial restitution and additional judicial sanctions will be assigned to any individual found responsible for violating this policy.
