STEP 1 - Oral Warning. Oral warnings shall be used for minor offenses. The supervisor shall discuss the offense and warn the employee not to repeat the behavior. Repeated violations of this category may result in written warnings or more severe disciplinary action.

STEP 1 - Oral Warning. The employee will be restricted to no more than six (6) hours of voluntary overtime per pay period. Such overtime must be scheduled adjacent to the employee’s designated shift. If the employee exceeds 34.5 hours of sick leave in the four months following oral warning, the employee will be subject to Step 2.

  • Whistle Blowing Protection The Employer agrees to adhere to the whistle blowing protection pursuant to the Long-Term Care Homes Act (LTCHA).

  • Step 1 Within fifteen workdays of the occurrence of the grieved action (or from the day the employee should have known about the action) the employee shall present a formal written grievance (on the grievance form) to Agency Head and/or his/her Designee.

  • Step 4 In the event the dispute is not resolved at Step 3 above, either party may serve upon the other and the COORDINATOR written notice by certified mail, within five (5) working days, requesting that the dispute be resolved by arbitration. If such a written notice is served, the parties shall jointly request the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service to submit the names of five (5) qualified arbitrators, from which list the UNION and the EMPLOYER shall alternately strike names until only one name is left, which person shall hear and resolve the dispute. A hearing shall be conducted by the arbitrator, at which time the parties to the dispute shall be given the opportunity to appear and offer evidence in support of their positions. A decision by the arbitrator shall be rendered in writing within a reasonable time, not to exceed ten (10) days after the conclusion of the hearing. The decision by the arbitrator shall be final and binding upon the parties; provided, however, that the arbitrator shall not have the authority to alter or amend the provisions of this AGREEMENT in any way. The reasonable expenses and fees of the arbitrator shall be borne equally by the parties.

  • Step 3 i. The employer shall review the particulars of the complaint as provided by the complainant pursuant to Article E.2.3.b.i. The employer may request further particulars from the complainant. Upon the conclusion of such a review, the employer shall:

There will be no adjustments to the amount billed for previously billed LSRs.   • Deviation from Grievance Procedure The Employer agrees that, after a grievance has been discussed at Step 2 of the grievance procedure the Employer or his representatives shall not initiate any discussion or negotiations with respect to the grievance, either directly or indirectly with the aggrieved employee without the consent of the xxxxxxx or the Union.

  • Order of Layoffs Employees shall be laid off in reverse order of their seniority. When layoffs occur, the employee(s) occupying the position(s) affected shall have the right to accept the layoff, or be entitled to exercise their seniority to bump a less senior employee, providing they have the qualifications, ability and skills to perform the work of the position they chose to bump into. The employee must be able to perform the job within a reasonable period of orientation. Such period of orientation not to exceed thirty (30) working days.

  • Accident Prevention Health and Safety Committee The Employer and the Union agree that they mutually to maintain standards of safety and health in the Hospital in order to prevent accidents, injury, and illness. ected or Recognizing its responsibilities under the applicable legislation, the Hospital agrees to accept as a member of its Accident Prevention Health and Safety Committee, at least one (1) representative sel appointed by the Union from amongst Bargaining Unit employees. Such Committee shall identify potential dangers and means of improving health and safety programs, and recommend actions to be taken to improve conditions related to safety and health. The Hospital agrees to co-operate reasonably in providing necessary information to enable the Committee its functions.
