Statutory Holiday Pay Allowance. If the employee prefers, he may inform the Employer when he leaves the job site that he will pick up the above items at the Employer's office in the afternoon of the second working day after his employment was terminated. When an employee terminates his employment or is dismissed for cause: He may inform the Employer that he will pick up the items listed above (a) to (e) at the Employer's office in the afternoon of the second working day after his employment was terminated or; the Employer, after allowing the pick up period to the end of the second day will mail to the employee, by registered mail (or electronically), the items listed above (a) to (e). If after seven (7) days the Employer has failed to provide payment to the employee, the Employer will be required to pay an additional four (4) hours straight time pay to the former employee for each day beyond the seven (7) that the former employee has not received his final pay.

  • Statutory Holiday All time worked on such Statutory Holidays as are provided for in this Agreement shall be considered as overtime and shall be paid at two hundred percent (200%) of the employee's regular straight-time rate, or the employee may elect to be paid straight-time rates for the overtime hours and take an equal number of hours as time off. Such time off must be taken according to a schedule acceptable to the employee's Supervisor within thirty (30) days of the end of the pay period in which the overtime was worked.
