Status of Leave Employees. While an employee is on leave under this section, he or she 29 shall be classified as an employee and shall receive the same treatment in respect to salary, 30 wages, and employee benefits as the employee’s sick leave account in accordance with 31 state statutes, rules and regulations. 32 REF. 28A.400.380 and RCW 41.04.650 through 41.04.665. 1
