STATEMENTS OF POLICY. (a) Definition of "Supervision". (Memorandum of Agreement dated January 30, 1958) Employees and employers recognize that supervisors are excluded from the provisions of the B.C. Standard Labour Agreement and accordingly it is improper for supervisors normally to do the kind of work which is done by those defined as employees in the Agreement. It is also recognized that for the practical and efficient operation of the xxxxx there are occasions when a supervisor must help. If the employee agrees to work he will be expected to report for work for those hours agreed to. As a general principle, the Company will, whenever practical, avoid requesting employees to work in excess of twelve (12) hours in any one
