Steam Plant. The Maintenance Department will normally perform any maintenance work within or directly related to the operation of the steam plant. The relief power engineer may perform such maintenance work if qualified to do so. No maintenance man will be laid off as a result of the relief power engineer performing such maintenance work. The relief power engineer may also perform work outside the Steam Plant if the work is steam related. Employee will be paid nine hours. For the purpose of this Supplemental Agreement, the work day for the 12-hour day shall be 6:30 a. m. - 6:30 p.m. During the shift there will be three (3) breaks, twenty (20) minutes in duration.
