Snow Storms. During a major or prolonged storm event an employee’s reporting times may be changed. A minimum of 16 hours notice will be given to employees for a change to their regular shift. The City may exercise its right to change an employee’s normal starting time during four (4) snow events per contract year (July 1 through June 30). If an employee’s normal starting time is changed, the employee shall be guaranteed a minimum of eight (8) hours work at a time and one half rate. If the City exercises its right to change an employee’s normal starting time more than the above mentioned four (4) events, then the affected employees will receive a call in as well as the guarantee of eight (8) hours work at a time and one half rate.

  • Shortages Claims for shortages in the amount of Products shipped by Patheon will be dealt with by reasonable agreement of the parties.

  • Earthquake including land shock waves or tremors before, during or after a volcanic eruption;

  • DISTURBANCES Tenant and all other occupants will be required to vacate the premises and forfeit the rental fee and security deposit for any of the following: Occupancy exceeding the agreed upon number people, using the premises for any illegal activity, causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties and any other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises. HOLD HARMLESS iTrip or the Owner, does not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property.   • Quarantine A Teacher shall be granted a leave of absence with pay as a result of being quarantined or otherwise prevented by order of the Medical Officer of Health from attending upon his/her duties.

  • Interruptions There shall be no abatement of rent and Lessor shall not be liable in any respect whatsoever for the inadequacy, stoppage, interruption or discontinuance of any utility or service due to riot, strike, labor dispute, breakdown, accident, repair or other cause beyond Lessor's reasonable control or in cooperation with governmental request or directions.
