Storm Event definition

Storm Event means a rainfall event that produces more than 0.1 inch of precipitation and that, which is separated from the previous storm event by at least 72 hours of dry weather.
Storm Event means a 1-year, 24-hour storm event or rainfall which measures 1 inch or greater in 1 hour or less as determined by measurements taken at the facility, or the closest official weather monitoring station.
Storm Event means precipitation, after a minimum of 72 hours has elapsed since cessation of previous precipitation, in the watershed of a stream segment that produces a 30 percent rise in stream flow over the average flow of the preceding 72 hours resulting from surface run-off.

  • During the first two (2) years of operation the Stormwater Management Facility shall be inspected by the Owner after each Significant Storm Event.

More Definitions of Storm Event

Storm Event means a storm that produces one-half inch of rain or more during any 24 hour time period.
