Section 8.14.2. 16 A majority vote of the Committee is required to implement a change. The decision of the 17 Committee is final and not subject to the grievance procedure. Human Resources will notify the 18 requesting employee(s) of the Committee’s decision no later than thirty (30) days following the 19 committee’s decision. 20
Section 8.14.2. 5 Extended Learning Opportunity (ELO) assignments shall be made by seniority to qualified in- 6 building paraeducators on an annual basis. School year assignments expected to run more than 7 six (6) weeks will be counted as a regular assignment.
Section 8.14.2. 37 Full-time year-round employees (mechanic) may be required to report to work. If not, the 38 following options are available: 39 40 Option 1 - Use up to two (2) emergency leave days which will be deducted from a person's sick 41 leave balance; 42 43 Option 2 - Use Personal Leave, if available; 44 45 Option 3 - Use Vacation Leave, if available; 47 Option 4 - May be a combination of Options 1, 2 and 3, and/or leave without pay.
Section 8.14.2. 18 If no regular employee fills the leave of absence position, a substitute driver may be assigned 19 for a specific period of time. It shall be the responsibility of the employer to inform the 20 substitute driver on the replacement route of the status and anticipated length of employment 21 limitations to the best of its knowledge. The substitute driver fill-in for the on-leave employee 22 shall have no bumping rights and no guarantee of employment.
