SCOPE AND DURATION OF PARTNERSHIP. BUILD will lead a BUILD Basics cohort and a Ferndale SOUP event, performing all programming, instruction, and activity coordination according to the schedule of activities outlined in this proposal. Ferndale will provide funding in the amount of $5,000 to encourage the participation of Ferndale businesses/entrepreneurs in the activities as well as support on marketing and recruitment (in terms of sharing content created by BUILD for the purpose of the activities in this Agreement). BUILD will perform the primary marketing and recruitment activities. The duration of the partnership shall be from the date of execution through December 31, 2020. Activities to be Performed • Execution of BUILD Basics Cohort: 8-week training program with one (1) session, two hours in length, per week, for 8 consecutive weeks. Led by a BUILD Institute instructor approved by the City of Ferndale and for whom qualifications are provided to the City of Ferndale. Cohorts shall have a minimum of ten (10) and maximum of twenty (20) participants that will go through the full 8-week course. Sessions to be held at a venue secured by BUILD Institute within the City of Ferndale according to the “Schedule of Activities”. The Ferndale BUILD Basics cohort shall be limited to Ferndale residents and businesses/entrepreneurs that have or intend to have a business presence in Ferndale. The City of Ferndale reserves the right to cancel and reschedule the BUILD Basics Cohort if the minimum number of participants is not met. Key Components o One cohort to be executed according to the schedule of activities within this agreement o BUILD Staff to lead the recruitment of participants in each cohort and to perform all logistics and planning necessary to successfully conduct programming. o BUILD to provide all materials necessary for participants to fully participate in the program. o BUILD to provide a summary report to City of Ferndale describing cohort experience and impact. Key points to be included in the report include (but are not limited to):  Demographics of the cohort participants  Description of external resource connections made for each participant. o BUILD to administer a survey to each participant in each cohort, and provide the survey responses and a summary report to the City of Ferndale.  Questions: What stage of business did they start at, and what stage did they finish the cohort at? What type of help did they come seeking/what did they hope to learn from the class? Did they obtain...

The parties recognize the salary ranges and the salary paid to individual employees are minimums. In the event of job reclassification, employees will be moved into the appropriate salary grade and be paid in accordance with the corresponding salary range. In cases where employees are being paid a wage/salary below that of the new salary range, they shall be brought up to the minimum of the new salary range. In cases where employees are being paid a wage/salary above that of the new salary range, their salary shall be red circled until such time as their wage/salary is within the salary range, however, they will be provided with a lump sum payment in lieu of their annual wage/salary increase. Those employees who have been trained pursuant to the Company’s “Train the Trainer” Program, shall receive an additional one hundred dollars ($100.00) per day, when facilitating scheduled Divisional Operational Training. The Company reserves the right to implement employee retention programs, share purchase programs, incentive plans and market supplement programs in its sole and absolute discretion.   • Entry into force and duration of the agreement 1. Each Contracting Party shall notify the other Contracting Party of the completion of internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of this Agreement. This Agreement shall enter into force on the date of the last of the two notifications.

  • Entry into force and duration 1. This Agreement shall enter into force one month after the date of exchange of the instruments of ratification by the Contracting Parties.
