Saturday/Sunday Hours. 1. Employees with shifts starting work on Sundays shall be paid an additional $1.21 per hour. Persons called to work on Sundays for other than a complete shift will also receive an additional $1.21 per hour. The rate shall be adjusted by the percentage of the wage increase in the final pay period of 2016, and thereafter shall be adjusted by the percentage of the determined wage increase on the determined date of the effective wage increase. Effective with the final pay period in 2016, this rate will increase to $1.22. The rate effective July 2, 2017, shall be $1.24. The rate effective November 19, 2017, shall be $1.25.

The rate shall be adjusted by the percentage of the wage increase in the pay period including January 1, 2022, and thereafter shall be adjusted by the percentage of the determined wage increase on the determined date of the effective wage increase. Effective with the pay period including January 1, 2022, this rate will increase to $1.42. The rate effective the pay period including January 1, 2023, shall be $1.45. The rate effective the pay period including January 1, 2024, shall be $1.49. The rate effective the pay period including January 1, 2025 shall be $1.54.

  • Saturday and Sunday Work Week: Five (5) consecutive days per week, Sunday to Saturday. Work Day: Seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours to be scheduled within the hours of operation.

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.

  • Saturday and Sunday Work (a) Where an employee is rostered to work ordinary hours between midnight Friday and midnight Saturday, the employee will be paid a loading of 50% of their ordinary rate of pay for the hours worked during this period.

  • Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday (a) For an employee whose workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays fall on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as observed on some other day, the following Monday shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement; and when a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies to the Monday), shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Saturday Work A day worker required to work overtime on a Saturday shall be afforded at least four hours work or paid for four hours at the rate of time and one half for the first three hours and double time thereafter, except where the overtime is continuous with overtime commenced on the previous day.

  • Holiday Falling on Saturday or Sunday For an employee whose normal workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday will be deemed to be the holiday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies), will be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Holidays on Saturday or Sunday When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday. When a holiday falls on Sunday, the following workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday.

  • Saturday Sunday and designated paid holidays shall not be counted in determining the time within which any action is to be taken or completed under the grievance procedure.

  • Sunday Employees at the Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 8:30 p.m. Friday and 8:29 p.m. Sunday.
