Effective wage definition

Effective wage means, for a worker not paid on an hourly basis, his/her income from the employer in question for the most recent full pay period divided by the number of hours he/she worked during that pay period.

  • London Living Wage means a basic hourly wage as updated from time to time by the GLA Economics Unit or any relevant replacement organisation and as notified to the Recipient.

  • Living Wage Employee means any and all employees of the Contractor and all Subcontractors of the Contractor that perform any part of the Work on a property owned by or leased to the City, including all streets, sidewalks and other public rights of way, for at least one consecutive hour, but excluding Students, volunteers and employees of Social Enterprises;

  • Public health emergency means an emergency with respect to COVID–19 declared by a Federal, State, or local authority.

  • Applicable Wages means the basic straight time wages for all hours worked, including:

  • Effective TBD means that the date is to be determined by further Commission action. A date listed as "anticipated effective" may be subject to change. An Advice Letter Supplement is not a new filing, and there is no protest period unless indicated.
