Salary Minima (Floors). It is recognized that the salaries of individual FTNTT Faculty members will vary from one another in terms of differentiations in academic credentials and appropriate background experience, in salary at time of initial hire and in length of service at Kent State University, in the nature of responsibilities and in prevailing compensation patterns among differing units of instruction, and in performance assessments which have an impact on salary level prior to the inception of this Agreement. It is, nonetheless, the intent of the contracting parties that there be minimum salaries at each academic rank for FTNTT Faculty members. Effective with appointments for the 2020-2021 year, and continuing through academic years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 , those minimum salaries, dependent upon the academic rank and duration of appointment specified in the individual's academic year full-time non-tenure track faculty employment contract, shall be as follows: For academic years 2020-2021, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023 Academic Rank 9 mo. contract 12 mo. contract Lecturer/Assistant Professor $45,000 $55,000 Associate Lecturer/ Associate Professor $47,500 $58,056 Senior Lecturer/ Professor $52,500 $64,167 Salary minima for appointments other than those of nine or twelve months in duration will be adjusted appropriately..

Salary Minima (Floors). As a means of assuring appropriate entry-level pay at each regular full-time academic rank for highly skilled and extensively trained professionals such as University Faculty, the University's past practice of establishing salary minima on a University-wide basis for each regular academic rank shall be preserved. The minimum annual contract salaries for Faculty members at each of the professional academic ranks for the term of this Agreement shall be as follows: 9 mo. contract 12

  • Salary Scale The salary scale applicable to Employees shall be set out hereinafter in the Wage Schedule.

  • Salary Scales 1. In the settlement of the Kindergarten Teachers, Head Teachers and Senior Teachers' Collective Agreement 2000-2002 the parties committed themselves to the implementation of pay parity for kindergarten teachers. Senior teacher K3 and K4 salaries were benchmarked to the base salary (excluding the roll-based supplementary component) of a primary U2 and U3 principal respectively.

  • Salary Sacrifice Employees may sacrifice their pre-tax earnings, subject to such arrangements being made for legitimate purposes such as additional superannuation contributions. The amount of salary sacrifice being deducted from pre-tax earnings shall be deducted from gross earnings with each pay period. Any such arrangements must be requested, varied or amended in writing, providing no les than one months notice to the Company. A Salary Sacrifice Request Form is attached as a schedule to this Agreement for this purpose. The Company recommends that employees seek independent financial advice prior to entering into salary sacrifice arrangement. The amount of any salary sacrifice income requested must be a fixed sum, without variation from one pay period to the next. The company shall implement employee requests to commence salary sacrifice arrangements at four (4) times a year, on the first full pay period on or after the 1st July, 1st October, 1st January and 1st April. Where adverse tax and/or superannuation changes occur, the Company or employee may terminate these salary sacrifice arrangements. Where a decision to terminate is made, employees will be given one month’s notice in writing.

  • Salary Deductions Salaried employees (E-level classifications) who are permanently assigned to full-time job classifications are paid on a bi-weekly salary basis. Salaried employees are paid a bi-weekly salary based on a minimum of two (2) forty (40) hour workweeks. The bi-weekly salary received by salaried employees will not be reduced regardless of the number of hours the salaried employee actually works in any week in which the salaried employee performs any work except for the following deductions:

  • SALARY RATES Section 12.1 The following shall apply to full-time employees:

  • Salary Schedule The scale of remuneration set out in Schedule "A" shall apply during the term of this Agreement. Any changes in salary rates or the classifications as outlined in Schedule "A" shall not be put into effect until the Union Business Representative has been consulted.

  • Salary Ranges A. The salary ranges for classifications covered by this Agreement shall be those contained in Appendix D.

  • Reallocation to a Class with a Lower Salary Range Maximum 1. If the employee meets the skills and abilities requirements of the position and chooses to remain in the reallocated position, the employee retains existing appointment status and has the right to be placed on the Employer’s internal layoff list for the classification occupied prior to the reallocation.

  • Salary No salary will be paid to a Member for the performance of his or her duties under this Agreement unless the salary has been approved in writing by a Majority of the Members.
