Route Variances. In the event of a tornado, major storm, earthquake, 28 fire, natural disaster, or other such event, the City Representative may grant 29 CONTRACTOR a variance from regular routes and schedules. As soon as practicable 30 after such event, CONTRACTOR shall advise the City Representative when it is 31 anticipated that normal routes and schedules can be resumed. The CITY shall make an 32 effort through the local news media to inform the public when regular services may be 33 resumed. Clean-up from some events may require that CONTRACTOR hire additional 34 equipment, employ additional personnel, or work existing personnel on overtime hours 35 to clean debris resulting from the event. CONTRACTOR shall receive additional 1 compensation, above the normal compensation contained in this Agreement, to cover 2 the costs of rental equipment, additional personnel, overtime hours and other 3 documented expenses based on the rates set forth in Exhibit 1 to this Agreement, 4 provided CONTRACTOR has first secured written authorization and approval from the 5 City Representative to perform the work.

  • Variances This Agreement shall not be deemed to prohibit any owner of property within the planned development from seeking or obtaining one or more variances from the requirements of this Agreement pursuant to the LDC. In addition to those entitled to notice pursuant to the LDC, notice of any public hearing to consider a proposed variance shall be provided to all persons owning property within the planned development. No such variance shall be deemed to require formal amendment to this Agreement.

  • Deviations Deviations from the drawings and the dimensions therein given, whether or not error is believed to exist, shall be made only after written authority is obtained from the County, and shall be documented within the Detailed Scope of Work for the specific Job Order.

  • Synchronization The Licensor hereby grants limited synchronization rights for One (1) music video streamed online (Youtube, Vimeo, etc..) for up to 500,000 non-monetized video streams on all total sites. A separate synchronisation license will need to be purchased for distribution of video to Television, Film or Video game.

  • Staffing Consultant will designate in writing to Authority its representative, and the manner in which it will provide staff support for the project, which must be approved by Authority. Consultant must notify Authority’s Contract Representative of any change in personnel assigned to perform work under this Contract, and the Authority’s Contract Representative has the right to reject the person or persons assigned to fill the position or positions. The Authority’s Contract Representative shall also have the right to require the removal of the Consultant’s previously assigned personnel, including Consultant’s representative, provided sufficient cause for such removal exists. The criteria for requesting removal of an individual will be based on, but not limited to, the following: technical incompetence, inability to meet the position’s qualifications, failure to perform, poor attendance, ethics violation, unsafe work habits, or damage to Authority or other property. Upon notice for removal, Consultant shall replace such personnel with personnel substantially equal in ability and qualifications for the positions and shall submit the proposed replacement personnel qualification and abilities to the Authority, in writing, for approval.
