Special Districts means all political subdivisions other
Special Districts means governmental agencies created for single or limited purposes within the County of Marin.
Special Districts means a formal and legally recognized sub-entity of the State that is authorized by State law to provide one or a limited number of designated functions, including but not limited to, fire districts, irrigation districts, water districts, law enforcement districts, emergency services districts, school districts, and healthcare and hospital districts. Special Districts do not include sub-entities of the State that provide general governance for a defined area that would qualify as a Subdivision.

  • The City agrees that this Agreement, when duly approved and executed by both parties, shall be deemed to indicate the City’s consent to the creation of one or more Special Districts to serve the Property and any other property now owned or hereafter acquired by Developer, which is made subject to this Agreement pursuant to Section 2.04.

  • The Developer intends to make provisions for public water supply and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, and drainage services for the Property through regionalized public utility facilities to be provided by one or more Special Districts.

Xxxx played a key role in the development and implementation of CalPACS, a regional, internet-based, comprehensive salary and benefits survey website for local agencies, now utilized by over fifty (50) Southern California member agencies.
