PRODUCT DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING. A. Materials shall be delivered to the site in new, dry, and unopened containers showing product name and manufacturer's name. Materials shall be delivered in sufficient quantity to allow continuity of work. Material received which is wet or is otherwise damaged shall be rejected.

General: Deliver, store, and handle products in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations, using means and methods that will prevent damage, deterioration and loss, including theft. Control delivery schedules to minimize long-term storage at the site and to prevent overcrowding of construction spaces. In particular coordinate delivery and installation to ensure minimum holding or storage times for items known or recognized to be flammable, hazardous, easily damaged, or sensitive to deterioration, theft and other sources of loss. Deliver products to the premises in the manufacturer's sealed container or other packaging system, complete with labels and instructions for handling, storage, unpacking, protecting and installing. Owner's personnel will not accept delivered materials - arrangements must be made by Contractor concerned to have Contractor's own personnel accept all deliveries of construction materials. Store products at the site in a manner that will facilitate inspection and measurement of quantity or counting of units. Store heavy materials away from the project structure in a manner that will not endanger the supporting construction.
