DELIVERY AND HANDLING Clause Samples
The DELIVERY AND HANDLING clause defines the responsibilities and procedures for transporting goods from the seller to the buyer. It typically specifies the method of delivery, timelines, shipping terms, and which party bears the costs and risks associated with handling and transportation. For example, it may state whether delivery is to be made to the buyer’s premises or another location, and clarify who is responsible for damages during transit. This clause ensures both parties understand their obligations regarding the movement of goods, thereby minimizing disputes and ensuring a smooth transfer process.
