Physical Examination by County Doctor. In the event that an employee shall have been absent under the provisions of this Article and returns to work without release from their own doctor, satisfactory to the Employer, the Employer shall have the right to direct the employee to a doctor selected and paid by the Employer. In the event that the employee shall be found fit to return to work, the employee shall be made whole for any necessary travel expense or loss of earnings incurred as a result of being directed to the County doctor. The Employer may require at the Employer's expense a medical certificate or other appropriate verification of sick leave absence.

  • Medical Examinations An employee may be required by the Employer, at the request of and at the expense of the Employer, to take a medical examination by a physician of the employee's choice. Employees may be required to take skin tests, x-ray examination, vaccination, inoculation and other immunization (with the exception of a rubella vaccination when the employee is of the opinion that a pregnancy is possible), unless the employee's physician has advised in writing that such a procedure may have an adverse affect on the employee's health.
