PERMISSION TO ACCUMULATE. Where an employee is unable to reduce the vacation accumulation before the end of the year because of sickness, total disability, an injury resulting in an award under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, an extraordinary requirement of the Employer, the Commissioner may extend the time limit in above. A request in writing for carry over of excess leave must be made prior to December of each year. Failure to make a request will result in the loss of any excess vacation credits. VACATION ENTITLEMENT Effective January employees who have completed six (6) months of service are entitled to annual vacation as follows:

An employee who has completed one (1) year of service will be credited at the beginning of the vacation with all the days of vacation to which the employee becomes entitled during the year.   • Notification of Accumulation Employees shall be given a written accounting of accumulated sick leave days no later than June 30 of each school year.

  • Maximum Accumulation Maximum accumulation amounts apply only to the amount of annual leave that may be carried over from one leave year to the next, and do not limit accumulated leave balances during the leave year.

  • Sick Leave Accumulation a. All unused days of sick leave at full pay for all employees, shall accumulate to a maximum of two hundred ten (210) days. Such sick leave benefits so accrued will be usable after the annual full days allowed, and prior to any half pay benefits.

  • PROVISIONS REQUIRED BY LAW DEEMED INSERTED Each and every provision of law and clause required by law to be inserted in this Contract shall be deemed to be inserted herein and this Contract shall be read and enforced as though it were included therein.

  • Vacation Accumulation (a) Vacations are not cumulative from year to year.

  • How Much May I Contribute to a Xxxx XXX As a result of the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act (“EGTRRA”) of 2001, the maximum dollar amount of annual contributions you may make to a Xxxx XXX is $5,500 for tax years beginning in 2013 with the potential for Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) increases in $500 increments. However, these amounts are phased out or eliminated entirely if your adjusted gross income is over a certain level, as explained in more detail below. Year 2020 2021 Xxxx XXX Contribution Limit $6,000 $6,000 You may make annual contributions to a Xxxx XXX in any amount up to 100% of your compensation for the year or the maximum contribution limits shown in the table above, whichever is less. If you are age 50 or older by the end of the year, you may make additional “catch-up” contributions to a Xxxx XXX. The “catch-up” contribution limit is $1,000 for tax years 2009 and beyond. If you are married and file a joint return, you may make contributions to your spouse’s Xxxx XXX. However, the maximum amount contributed to both your own and to your spouse’s Xxxx XXX may not exceed 100% of your combined compensation or the maximum contribution shown in the table above, whichever is less. The maximum amount that may be contributed to either your Xxxx XXX or your spouse’s Xxxx XXX is shown in the table above. Again, these dollar limits are reduced by any contributions made by or on behalf of you or your spouse to any other individual retirement plan (such as a Traditional IRA) except SEP IRAs and SIMPLE IRAs. Again, the limit is not reduced for contributions either of you make to a Xxxxxxxxx Education Savings Account for someone other than yourselves. As noted in Item 1, your eligibility to contribute to a Xxxx XXX depends on your AGI (as defined below). The amount that you may contribute to a Xxxx XXX is reduced proportionately for AGI which exceeds the applicable dollar amount. Note that the amount you may contribute to a Xxxx XXX is not affected by your participation in an employer-sponsored retirement plan. To determine the amount you may contribute to a Xxxx XXX (assuming it does not exceed 100% of your compensation), you can refer to IRS Publication 590-A: Modified Adjusted Gross Income for Xxxx XXX Purposes and Determining Your Reduced Xxxx XXX Contribution Limit. The amount you contribute may not exceed the maximum contribution limits shown in the table above reduced by the amount contributed on your behalf to all other individual retirement accounts (except SEP IRAs and SIMPLE IRAs). Your contribution to a Xxxx XXX is not reduced by any amount you contribute to a Xxxxxxxxx Education Savings Account for the benefit of someone other than yourself. If you are the beneficiary of a Xxxxxxxxx Education Savings Account, additional limits may apply to you. Please contact your tax advisor for more information.

  • Pay for Unused Sick Leave Unused sick leave not to exceed 70 days will be paid at the rate of $50 per day when the teacher retires or leaves U.S.D. 506 employment, provided the teacher has a minimum of 10 years of service in U.S.D. 506. Article VI: Activity Ticket Each teacher of U.S.D. 506 shall be issued an activity ticket, which shall be honored at all regular school functions held within the district. Said ticket shall not be honored at basketball tournaments and special events. Said ticket shall be honored for employee, spouse, and children who have not yet graduated from high school. The Board of Education will have an expectation that those teachers in attendance at school functions will assume a reasonable amount of general supervision as needed.

  • Compliance with Xxxxx-Xxxxx and Related Act requirements All rulings and interpretations of the Xxxxx-Xxxxx and Related Acts contained in 29 CFR parts 1, 3, and 5 are herein incorporated by reference in this contract.

  • – ORIENTATION AND IN SERVICE 20.01 An orientation and in service program will be provided to all employees. These programs shall be reviewed and discussed from time to time by members of the Union-Management Committee.

  • HOLIDAYS THAT FALL ON A SATURDAY For those employees assigned to a work week of Monday through Friday, and in the event a legal holiday falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed as a holiday; provided, however, that except where the Governor declares that such preceding Friday shall be a legal holiday, each department head shall make provision for the staffing of public offices under his/her jurisdiction on such preceding Friday so that said public offices may serve the public as provided in Section 16.4 of the Administrative Code. Those employees who work on a Friday which is observed as a holiday in lieu of a holiday falling on Saturday shall be allowed a day off in lieu thereof as scheduled by the appointing officer in the current fiscal year.
