Pay for On the Job Injury and Motor Vehicle Accidents The Company agrees to take the necessary actions to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of an employee when that employee suffers a serious on the job injury or when that employee is involved in a motor vehicle accident while operating a Company vehicle and where the police are requested to attend. When either of the above defined incidents occurs, the Company agrees that when an employee deems themselves unfit to continue work for that day, the employee shall be relieved of their duties and shall be paid for all hours they were scheduled to work on that day with a minimum of four (4) hours.

Pay for On. Call Assignment • Fifty-eight dollars ($58.00) for each On-Call Assignment on an employee’s regularly scheduled workday, • Eighty-seven dollars ($87.00) for each On-Call Assignment on an employee’s scheduled days off, and • One Hundred Thirteen dollars ($113.00) for each On-Call Assignment that begins on an actual (not an Observed) holiday as defined in Article 14.1 within this Agreement. Effective June 1, 2020 the amounts listed in this Section above will be increased annually at the same time and percentage as the scheduled annual increase in accordance with Section 11.2.2 to this Article.

  • Pay for Holidays Worked (a) When an employee is required to work on a designated holiday, the employee shall be paid compensation, or given compensatory time off, for such work at the rate of time and one-half the employee’s regular rate of pay, in addition to regular pay received for all hours worked for the holiday.

  • Time Off for Elections Employees shall be allowed four (4) consecutive hours off before the closing of the polls in any Federal, Provincial, or Municipal election or referendum.

  • Pay for Unused Sick Leave Unused sick leave not to exceed 70 days will be paid at the rate of $50 per day when the teacher retires or leaves U.S.D. 506 employment, provided the teacher has a minimum of 10 years of service in U.S.D. 506. Article VI: Activity Ticket Each teacher of U.S.D. 506 shall be issued an activity ticket, which shall be honored at all regular school functions held within the district. Said ticket shall not be honored at basketball tournaments and special events. Said ticket shall be honored for employee, spouse, and children who have not yet graduated from high school. The Board of Education will have an expectation that those teachers in attendance at school functions will assume a reasonable amount of general supervision as needed.

  • Leave Without Pay for Relocation of Spouse (a) At the request of an employee, leave without pay for a period of up to one (1) year shall be granted to an employee whose spouse is permanently relocated and up to five (5) years to an employee whose spouse is temporarily relocated.

  • Equal Pay for Equal Work The principle of equal pay for equal work shall apply, regardless of sex.

  • Eligibility for Sick Leave with Pay Employees shall be eligible for sick leave with pay immediately upon accrual.

  • Holiday Pay for Employees Laid Off An employee who is laid off at the close of business the day before a holiday who has worked not less than five (5) previous consecutive work days shall be paid for the holiday.

  • Eligibility for Holiday Pay A. An employee must be paid for all or a portion of both the regularly scheduled working assignment immediately prior to a holiday and the regularly scheduled working assignment immediately after that holiday in order to receive holiday pay. With County approval, compensatory time earned for working on a holiday or for a holiday falling on a regularly scheduled day off may be taken on the first scheduled working day after the holiday.

  • Eligibility for Employer Contribution This section describes eligibility for an Employer Contribution toward the cost of coverage.

  • Maintaining Eligibility for Employer Contribution The employer's contribution continues as long as the employee remains on the payroll in an insurance eligible position. Employees who complete their regular school year assignment shall receive coverage through August 31.
