OP STUDENTS. Co-op students are students who are employed during the school year and receive credit for employment at CUNA Mutual. The hourly rate paid to co-op students is not to exceed the minimum of the salary grade equivalent to the work they are performing.

OP STUDENTS. At the Union’s request, the Board agrees to share with the President of the Bargaining Unit, co-op student placements which occur within the school locations where the Bargaining Unit employees are employed. Where there is a concern over the co-op activities that may impact on Bargaining Unit work, that cannot be rectified by the school’s administration, the President of the Bargaining Unit will contact the Executive Officer of Human Resources. The Executive Officer of Human Resources or designate will convene a meeting with representatives from the work site and appropriate administrative staff in order to attempt to alleviate the concern. ARTICLE MEDICAL PROCEDURES Normally, the Principal will seek the voluntary assistance of the staff in administering medication and/or in performing any procedure, however, in the event of a medical emergency, staff will perform such procedures as are necessary for the safety and well-being of the child. Any suspicion of a communicable condition or disease shall be reported to the administration. However, it is not part of the regular duties and responsibilities of the employee to examine pupils for communicable conditions or diseases or to diagnose such conditions or diseases.
OP STUDENTS. Should a strike or lock out involving employees occur, co-op students shall be immediately removed from the workplace where employees perform their job functions. Employees shall not have their hours of work reduced owing to the use of Co-op students in that worksite. No employee shall be laid off nor shall the Board refuse to recall a laid-off employee owing to the use of a Co-op student in that position. The Board shall not refuse to fill a vacancy owing to the use of a Co-op student in that position. If at any time, there is a disagreement about the Work Placement Program or a co-op student’s activities while in the workplace, the Bargaining Unit President will contact the Executive Officer of Human Resources to convene a meeting of representatives from the Bargaining Unit, worksite and appropriate administrative staff in order to attempt to alleviate the problem.
OP STUDENTS. Both parties recognize the value and importance of co-op education programs. Co-op students may be used provided they are working with bargaining unit employees. The Union shall be notified prior to co-op students being placed and shall not be used to replace bargaining unit employees ARTICLE MILEAGE Mileage rates paid to employees using their own automobiles on authorized Employer’s business shall be paid per Board policy.

  • Team Teaching Unit members participating in team teaching assignments will receive formula hour credit in proportion to the percentage of in-class involvement. When team-taught class sizes exceed the normal, the formula conditions specified in Section 4.3.3 shall apply.

  • VOLUNTEERS AND STUDENT WORKERS The Employer will utilize volunteers and student workers only to the extent they supplement and do not supplant bargaining unit employees. Volunteers and student workers will not supervise bargaining unit employees.

  • Teams One team for the purposes of the Event shall consist of one Vehicle. Each Vehicle can contain a maximum of three Team Members, provided such Team Members have entered into a Team Entry Agreement with the Company or have otherwise agreed in writing to participate in the Event upon and subject to the Terms of Entry and the Event Rules. For the avoidance of doubt, it is the sole responsibility of each Team to inform themselves of the maximum numbers of persons legally permitted to travel in the Vehicle under Relevant Law. Vehicles: Rickshaws The Company shall provide each Team with the contact details of the Approved Hirer who will be able to provide each Team with a Vehicle for use in the Event, subject to the Team entering into an agreement (the “Borrowing Agreementâ€) with the Hirer outlining the terms of use of the Vehicle. Should the Vehicle not be delivered to the Designated Finish Point up to 3 days after the date of the official Finish Line Party, then the team will be liable for either the cost to retrieve the Vehicle and/or the "Hire Costs" beyond this date. Each Vehicle will be of a similar specification to that outlined in Schedule 4 to the Team Entry Agreement. For the avoidance of doubt, the Company shall make no representations or warranties as to the suitability of the Approved Hirer or of the Vehicle for participation in the Event and any rights or warranties which a Team may have or be granted in relation to the Vehicle shall be limited to those contained in the Rental Agreement or implied by any Relevant Law.

  • Project Team To accomplish Owner’s objectives, Owner intends to employ a team concept in connection with the construction of the Project. The basic roles and general responsibilities of team members are set forth in general terms below but are more fully set forth in the Design Professional Contract with respect to the Design Professional, in the Program Management Agreement with any Program Manager, and in this Contract with respect to the Contractor.
