Common use of Normal Hours of Work Clause in Contracts

Normal Hours of Work. a) For Employees who are scheduled for more than twenty-four (24) hours per week, the regular work day will be eight (8) hours, and the regular work week will be forty (40) hours, with the exception of those persons scheduled as shown in Appendix “B”. Such hours will include paid lunch periods.

Normal Hours of Work. aThe Normal Hours of Work for an employee shall be thirty-nine (39) For Employees who are scheduled for more than twenty-hours a week. Employees will be required to perform twelve (12) hours of active and gainful work per day. The normal work cycle consists of four (4) weeks, each week alternating between thirty-six (36) and forty-eight (48) hours of work per week. Thus, each work week averages out to forty-two (42) hours per week, the regular work day will be eight (8) hours, and the regular work week will be forty (40) hours, with the exception of those persons scheduled as shown in Appendix “B”. Such or 168 hours will include paid lunch periodsper cycle.
