Jury/Witness Leave. 13.9.1 The District shall grant to members of the bargaining unit called for jury service in the manner provided by law, or subpoenaed to appear as a witness in court other than as a litigant (except for cases resulting from Section 21.10), or to respond to an official order from another governmental jurisdiction, for reasons not brought about by the connivance or misconduct of the unit member, leave of absence without loss of regular pay for the time the unit member is required to perform jury duty or appear under the official order during regularly assigned working hours.
