Industrial Accident and Illness Leave of Absence. 15.2.1 Any faculty member (full-time or part-time) absent due to an industrial accident or illness is eligible for industrial accident and illness leave. The number of days of leave allowed for one accident or the total number of days allowed in one fiscal year for one accident shall not exceed, sixty, (60) days. A day of leave for purposes of this section shall be defined as a day during which school is in session or a day when the faculty member would otherwise have been required to perform work for the District.

Industrial Accident and Illness Leave of Absence. 13.6.1 The District shall provide leave to a unit member for industrial accident or illness. Unit members shall have leave up to sixty (60) days for the same accident or illness when the unit member would normally be performing work for the District in any one (1) school year.

  • Industrial Accident and Illness Leave Section 44984 of the Education Code is supplemented as follows:

Eligibility for Extended Illness Leave includes completion of employee’s probationary period.

  • Parental Leave of Absence A. A female unit member may use any or all accumulated leave during pre- and post-natal care for that period of time she is temporarily disabled, as determined by the unit member and her physician.
