Implementation of Strategic Plan Goals. This Agreement supports the County’s Strategic Plan, Goal 1, Operational Effectiveness/Fiscal Sustainability. This Agreement will provide revenue reimbursement to the Department for services rendered.

The requested expertise and experience to perform the required services are not currently available within the County.

Participation in OPSG Grant Program leverages resources from the Department and other law enforcement agencies to enhance protection along the land and water borders of the United States.

The Feasibility Study and Implementation Plan will lead to projects that will provide additional and enhanced recreational opportunities for citizens of the County.

This Agreement supports the County’s Strategic Plan, Goal 1, Operational Effectiveness/Fiscal Sustainability, by combining resources with the Pasadena Police Department; the Department enhances public safety during this event, efficiently delivering much needed Services to one of the safety partners within the County. It ensures safety and security to the people of the County, along with the worldwide visitors to this event. All Department costs are fully reimbursed by the city of Pasadena.
Implementation of Strategic Plan Goals. These actions are consistent with the County Strategic Plan Goal of Fiscal Responsibility by supporting investment in public infrastructure. These actions are also consistent with the County Strategic Plan Goal of Organizational Effectiveness. The use of an “as-needed” consultant services agreement has enabled Public Works to better manage fluctuations in workload and thereby provide responsive service to our clients.

Approval of the agreement is in accordance with the Countywide Strategic Plan Goals of Fiscal Responsibility and Collaboration Across Jurisdictional Boundaries. Delinquent property taxes and costs are recovered, and the limited-use parcel is identified for appropriate public purpose.
