Handwashing and Personal Sanitization. The district shall provide adequate facilities and supplies for handwashing as required by OSPI’s guidelines. Hand sanitizer shall be available in each classroom that does not have a unique handwashing station. Hand sanitizer will be available in all common spaces for use by staff, students, or community members. Antibacterial cleaning products will be available to staff, upon request, to wipe down surfaces before or after personal use.

  • Pupil Safety and Fingerprinting CONTRACTOR shall comply with all provisions of the Education Code which protect the safety of any pupil that may come in contact with employees of the CONTRACTOR. Pursuant to Education Code section 45125.1, CONTRACTOR shall conduct criminal background checks of ALL employees of CONTRACTOR assigned to the PROJECT site, and shall certify that no employees who have been convicted of serious or violent felonies, as specified in Education Code Section 45125.1, will have contact with pupils, by utilizing the General Certification Regarding Background Checks Form. As part of such certification, CONTRACTOR must provide the District with a list of all employees providing services pursuant to this Agreement, and designate which sites such employees will be assigned. In performing the services set forth in this Agreement, CONTRACTOR shall not utilize any employees who are not included on the above-referenced list. At District’s sole discretion, District may make a finding, as authorized under Education Code section 45125.1, that CONTRACTOR’s employees will have only “limited contact” with pupils. In accordance with Education Code Section 45125.2, a CONTRACTOR performing construction, reconstruction, rehabilitation or repair services to a school facility shall not be required to perform Section 45125.1 background checks of all employees assigned to the PROJECT site if such CONTRACTOR installs a physical barrier at the worksite to limit employee contact with pupils and/or provides continual supervision and monitoring of all employees of the CONTRACTOR by an employee of the CONTRACTOR whom the Department of Justice has ascertained has not been convicted of a violent or serious felony. Such CONTRACTOR shall certify to the District its compliance with one of the aforementioned alternatives under Education Code Section 45125.2 pertaining to pupil safety with the form entitled CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR CERTIFICATION REGARDING BACKGROUND CHECKS which is on file at the Administrative Office of the DISTRICT. Contractor’s failure to comply with the law or Article VI, Paragraph 4 of this Agreement shall be considered a material breach of this Agreement upon where this Agreement may be terminated, at District’s sole discretion, without any further compensation to Contractor.

  • TRANSPORTATION AND TRAVEL TIME 12.01 The Employer will provide transportation to and from jobs from the Employer’s shop. If an employee’s car is used for such transportation, the owner shall be paid fifty cents (50¢) per kilometre for such use.

  • SUB-CONTRACTORS Transfer Agent may, without further consent on the part of Customer, subcontract with other subcontractors for telephone and mailing services as may be required from time to time; provided, however, that the Transfer Agent shall be as fully responsible to the Customer for the acts and omissions of any subcontractor as it is for its own acts and omissions.

  • Anti-Boycott Verification To the extent this Agreement constitutes a contract for goods or services within the meaning of Section 2270.002 of the Texas Government Code, as amended, solely for purposes of compliance with Chapter 2270 of the Texas Government Code, and subject to applicable Federal law, the Developer represents that neither the Developer nor any wholly owned subsidiary, majority-owned subsidiary, parent company or affiliate of Developer (i) boycotts Israel or (ii) will boycott Israel through the term of this Agreement. The terms “boycotts Israel” and “boycott Israel” as used in this paragraph have the meanings assigned to the term “boycott Israel” in Section 808.001 of the Texas Government Code, as amended.

  • Firefighters Any truck with an inoperative aerial ladder shall be regularly and routinely staffed with one (1) officer and five (5) firefighters for the period of time that the aerial ladder is inoperative, or until such time as the truck with the inoperative aerial ladder is replaced with a truck with an operative aerial ladder. At 0800 and 2000 hours, all trucks shall be staffed with one (1) officer and four (4) firefighters, and any truck with an inoperative aerial ladder shall be staffed with one (1) officer and five (5) firefighters.

  • Sanitation and Servicing Purchaser shall take all reasonable precautions to prevent pollution of air, soil, and water by Purchaser’s Operations. If facilities for employees are established on Sale Area, they shall be operated in a sanitary manner. In the event that Purchaser’s Operations or servicing of equipment result in pollution to soil or water, Purchaser shall conduct cleanup and restoration of the polluted site to the satisfaction of Forest Service. Purchaser shall maintain all equipment operating on Sale Area in good repair and free of abnormal leakage of lubricants, fuel, coolants, and hydraulic fluid. Purchaser shall not service tractors, trucks, or other equipment on National Forest lands where servicing is likely to result in pollution to soil or water. Purchaser shall furnish oil- absorbing mats for use under all stationary equipment or equipment being serviced to prevent leaking or spilled petroleum-based products from contaminating soil and water resources. Purchaser shall remove from National Forest lands all contaminated soil, vegetation, debris, vehicle oil filters (drained of free-flowing oil), batteries, oily rags, and waste oil resulting from use, servicing, repair, or abandonment of equipment.
